W artykule przedstawiono usystematyzowaną wiedzę z zakresu logistyki rowerowej. Zaprezentowano charakterystykę systemów rowerowych, opisano główne cechy systemów dystrybucji rowerami, opierając się zarówno na założeniach teoretycznych, jak i na analizie przykładów funkcjonujących wdrożeń. Omówiono też wybrane przykłady systemów dystrybucji ładunków rowerami towarowymi w Europie. W końcowej części artykułu zostały przedstawione krótkie sugestie dotyczące możliwości wykorzystania rowerów w procesie transportowym.

The article presents a systematic knowhow in the field of bicycle logistics. The characteristics of cycling systems are presented, the main features of cycling distribution systems are described, based both on theoretical assumptions and analysis of examples of functioning implementations. Selected examples of cargo distribution systems by bicycle in Europe are also discussed. In the final part of the article short suggestions concerning the possibilities of using bicycles in the transport process are presented.

W pracy poruszone zostały aspekty logistyczne i prawnej związane z wykorzystaniem bezzałogowych statków powietrznych w transporcie. Wskazane zostały nowe możliwości wykorzystania tych statków, jak również problemy jakie mogą pojawić się w przypadku, gdyby wprowadzić te rozwiązania transportowe do powszechnej praktyki. Części pracy poświęcono regulacjom prawnym funkcjonującym na poziomie międzynarodowymi, na poziomie specyficznego systemu Unii Europejskiej oraz na poziomie krajowym. W części poświęconej regulacjom prawnym wskazano na kierunki zmian jakie proponowane są na poszczególnych poziomach regulacji. Uzyskane wnioski pozwalają wierzyć, ze ta dziedzina podlegać będzie dynamicznemu rozwojowi pod warunkiem uwzględnienia postulatów legislacyjnych technologów oraz podmiotów zajmujących się transportem.

In this paper there have been raised logistical and legal aspects associated with the use of unmanned aircraft in transport. The work indicates new ways to use aircrafts, as well as problems that may arise in the case of implementation of these transport solutions for general practice. Part of the work was devoted to the legal regulations operative on: the international level, the specific system of the European Union level and national level. In the part devoted to legal regulations the directions of the changes that are being proposed for different levels of regulation was pointed out. These findings lead us to believe that this area will be subject of dynamic development, but under condition that process engineers’ legislative initiatives as well as the demands transport’s company owners will be taken into account.

Artykuł prezentuje zagadnienie problemu ostatniej mili występujące w handlu elektronicznym. W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono problematykę dostawy towaru do klienta. Następnie określono przyczyny powstawania problemu ostatniej mili oraz scharakteryzowano koszty dotyczące tego problemu. W kolejnym etapie zaprezentowano klasyfikację metod rozwiązywania problemu ostatniej mili, w tym rozwiązania dostępne w Polsce. Następna część artykułu prezentuje wyniki badań zrealizowane w 480 polskich sklepach internetowych, dotyczące czasu realizacji zamówień oraz form wysyłki. Ostatnia część artykułu prezentuje wyniki badań klientów sklepów internetowych, dotyczące problematyki dostawy przesyłek, w tym w szczególności paczkomatów.

This article presents the last mile problem occurring in e-commerce. In the first part of the article we discusses the area of delivery to the customer. Next, we present the causes of the last mile problem, and we characterize the costs of dealing with this issue. In the next part the classification methods to solve the last mile problem are presented, including the solutions available in Poland. The next part of the article presents the results of research carried out in 480 Polish online stores concerning the lead time and shipping forms. The last part of the article presents the survey results of online shoppers, addressing the problems of goods delivery, in particular collection delivery points.

According to research online sales of food enjoy bigger and bigger Internet users interest. However, selling online such products isn't free from logistic costs connected with the necessity of the geographically-spread client on the one hand and an indispensably fast delivery of food on the other hand. This article aims at presenting an innovative Freshbox project that may solve the last mile issue in online grocery. The Freshbox project is about installing a vending machine – refrigerator in an office building giving out previously ordered food products via the Internet. The author presented an analysis of online grocery, characteristics of the Freshbox project, as well as results of research conducted among potential clients referring to the following points: market chances for Freshbox project and the conditions of success in the eyes of potential customers.

Dostępne badania wskazują na rosnące zainteresowanie zakupami produktów spożywczych w Internecie. Jednakże specyfika produktów spożywczych generuje koszty logistyczne wiążące się z koniecznością obsługi rozproszonego geograficznie klienta indywidualnego w maksymalnie szybklim czasie. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie innowacyjnego projektu, który mógłby przyczynić się do rozwiązania problemu ostatniej mili. Freshbox jest urządzeniem, które pełni rolę automatu sprzedającego, a przy tym posiada funkcje chłodzącą. Umożliwia odbiór w miejscu publicznym wcześniej zamówionych przez Internet produktów spożywczych. W artykule przeanalizowano wady i zalety kupowania produktów spożywczych w Interencie, jak również wyniki badań dotyczące rynkowych szans oraz przesłanek sukcesu projektu Freshbox.
