W artykule zaprezentowano aspekty dotyczące projektowania budynków proekologicznych i scharakteryzowano kryteria projektowania. Problem badawczy obejmuje określenie wybranych aspektów projektowania. Metoda badań polega na analizie uwarunkowań proekologicznych w projektowaniu architektoniczno-budowlanym oraz zastosowania materiałów i elementów konstrukcyjnych CLT. W artykule zaprezentowano metody analogii ścinania i Gamma jako wybrane przykłady rozwiązywania problemów konstrukcyjno-materiałowych.

This paper presents aspects of designing proecological buildings and the design criteria were characterized. The research problem includes determining selected aspects of design. The research method involves the analysis of proecological conditions in architectural and construction design and the use of CLT materials and construction elements. This paper presents shear analogy methods and Gamma methods as selected examples of solving construction and material problems.

Historic buildings are an essential component of the national heritage, constituting the fundamental determinants of the cultural identity of each society. The protection and conservation of monuments are a manifestation of care and evidence of their responsibility. The way owners deal with historic buildings has its specificity. Management, protection, and sharing should follow the conservation rules defined by law and good practices. After World War II, due to Poland's historical, political, and socio-economic transformations, some historic buildings gradually degraded and lost their original functions. Devastated monuments are often considered redundant by society. Effective use of them for new functions allows society to preserve unique elements of the landscape and develop the economic and social potential of the monument's surroundings. The renovation and adaptation of monuments to a new function should be preceded by a multi-level analysis allowing for the sustainable revitalisation of the building. The diversity of types of monuments, their state of preservation, location, and the form of ownership significantly affect the procedure. This article aims to present a holistic approach to the renovation of monuments and sustainable management of these objects. The concept is based on the results of questionnaire research and considers conservation guidelines, pro-environmental solutions, utility value and the socio-economic potential of the monument. The survey conducted with the owners of the monuments described in the article is the basis for determining the conditions for the sustainable revitalisation of monuments. The survey results will help develop a management model for this process. Sustainable revitalisation is shown on an example of an adaptation palace in Rzuchów for cultural and scientific purposes.

Zakopane jest regionalnym miastem turystycznym unikalnym w skali całej Polski. Jedyny górski kurort o wyjątkowej historii i klimacie. Modne miejsce wypoczynku i wyczynu. Wymaga obecnie nie tylko troski o zrównoważony rozwój, ale naprawy zaniedbań i uzupełnienia braków wymaganych do komfortowego funkcjonowania oraz dopełnienia oferty zarówno użytkowej, jak i kulturalnej. Drobna w skali architektura Podhala musi sprostać wyzwaniom współczesnym. Uświadomieniu możliwości rozwoju tego miejsca sprzyja prezentacja realizacji podziemnych z całego świata jako jednej z dróg rozwiązywania problemów przeciążonych miast. Przykłady wskazują sposoby rozładowania presji potrzeb, a zarazem odciążenie naziemnego programu usługowego miast i zwiększenie zasobów zieleni.

The small-scale architecture of the Podhale region must rise must rise to face to contemporary challenges. Presenting underground projects from all over the world aids in raising awareness regarding the potential for development of the area, demonstrating one of the paths to solving the problems of overburdened cities. Examples show methods of relieving the pressure of current needs whilst simultaneously relieving the above-ground service programme of cities and increasing the amounts of greenery at their disposal.
