W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe pojęcia i definicje związane z produkcją żelbetowych prefabrykatów palowych stosowanych w fundamentach budowli. Opierając się na przykładzie KPB Kutno, przedstawiono technologię produkcji prefabrykatów palowych i wyposażenie wytwórni, a także transport i metody składowania prefabrykatów pali żelbetowych.

The paper presents basic notions and definitions related to the production of precast reinforced concrete piles applied in the foundations of structures. The review of the legislation and standards on the production and typical construction solutions of precast piles is also included, as well as technological design problems and pile strength requirements (design of concrete components and verification of their quality – approval of suppliers). Based on the example of KPB Kutno concrete plant, the key machines and equipment used for pile production are presented, including modern technologies of manufacturing reinforcement cages and the plant laboratory. Further, the prefabrication process and transportation and storage methods are described. The paper also provides an insight into the quality management system applied in the plant, control procedures (current and periodic type testing) and issues related to CE marking of the produced piles.

Omówiono oddziaływania środowiskowe na żelbetowe pale fundamentowe i zaproponowano przyporządkowanie klas ekspozycji w przykładowych sytuacjach użytkowania pali. Opisano mechanizmy destrukcji oraz przedstawiono wymagania normowe stawiane żelbetowym palom fundamentowym z uwagi na trwałość.

Environmental impact on precast reinforced concrete foundation piles is discussed and exposure classes for given situations are proposed. Corrosive actions are described and Standard requirements for prefabricated piles due to its durability are presented.
