The purpose of this paper is to analyse different views on interpersonal relations and team composition among managers and medical professionals with respect to the transition of professional roles in healthcare in Poland. To achieve that goal, a description based on a quantitative and qualitative questionnaire was conducted. Since the questionnaire covered various areas of health care, only its small fraction was used for the analysis. The main result is that most of the medical professionals and medical managers consider technology to be the single most important external factor influencing the team work efficiency and team composition in health care, and the managers consider skillset as the crucial factor determining whether a person would be a good team member. Based on the literature on professional roles in health care and their evolution in recent years, one can assume that constant development and lifelong learning would play a significant role in the healthcare systems reform. The findings are an important contribution to the discussion of the healthcare reform and its possible directions in future years as well a reference point for policy makers.

Aby odpowiednio pokierować pracą w zespole, trzeba mieć świadomość procesów grupowych, jakie w nim zachodzą. Każda grupa, niezależnie od tego, w jakim celu i w jaki dokładnie sposób powstała, charakteryzuje się określoną dynamiką. W zbiorze osób można nakreślić pewne etapy, które są uniwersalne i przebiegają najczęściej w tej samej kolejności. Przez wzgląd na fakt, iż przywódca jest członkiem (i najczęściej też twórcą) takiej grupy, powinien zdawać sobie sprawę z tego, jakie procesy mogą w niej zachodzić oraz jaka jest jego rola na poszczególnych etapach.

The article shows the results of polls conducted on a sample of 385 professional soldiers, 416 conscripts and sociometric research carried out in 18 subunits. Team work, that is an immanent feature of combat actions, proves that in order to achieve combat training tasks the essential role is played by endeavours that aim at forging the sections, companies, divisions and battalions to be teams able to take and conduct common tasks. Empirical data show, however, that social phenomena occurring in the army make achieving this state of subunits difficult. They include, among others, divergences between individual tasks of the subunit members and the team tasks, domination of outer constraint in didactic - educational actions, social stratification of the subunit structure into groups of opposite interests, subculture life.
