The kinematics and kinetics of human postural responses to anterior-posterior sudden forces was studied using a human multi-segments model in the sagittal plane. Forces and moments acted on the feet of the model were solved using Newton-Euler method. The stability criterion of the model is based on the center of pressure (COP) location, which is located in the area of contact with the ground between the toe and the heel positions. The postural responses of the model optimized using statically and dynamically compensation algorithms. Results of the analysis and dynamical simulation showed an improvement in response to external perturbation.
