Study of mediation effect of affinity in defining relationship between social media and career decisions of Gen-Z

Gen-Z leverage social media to showcase their skills and talent to ensure good career opportunities. The objective of this research is to study the mediation effect of affinity towards social media in defining relationship between social media and career decisions made by Gen-Z. Purposive sampling technique is used to collect responses from 500 Gen-Z. Structural dependence relationship between the constructs has been analysed using Structural equation modelling (SEM) technique. Mediating effect has been studied using Bootstrapping technique. The model’s validity and reliability has been examined by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis Results show Gen-Z demonstrate affinity towards social media reviews and make career decisions based on them. Mere usage of social media does not influence their career decisions but the affinity towards social media plays a mediating role between usage and career decisions. Findings of this empirical research will help HR managers in redefining of hiring strategy and help attract Gen-Z talent by leveraging social websites. This research is a value addition as limited research work is available in this matter and help managers in redefining the HR and Talent strategy.

Istotnym elementem podczas projektowania mieszanek mineralno-asfaltowych jest powinowactwo fizykochemiczne lepiszcza asfaltowego do kruszywa. Istnieje wiele metod badawczych, stosowanych do jego określenia, jednak otrzymane wyniki mogą być zupełnie odmienne. Podczas kilkuletnich badań ustalono wpływ różnych czynników na wynik badania oraz możliwość spełnienia wymagań zgodnie z dokumentami technicznymi obowiązującymi w Polsce oraz w niektórych krajach europejskich.

Mineral aggregate and asphalt binder for asphalt mixes shall demonstrate physic-chemical affinity sufficient for required adhesion of asphalt binder and aggregate. In order to increase asphalt and aggregate affinity – agents that increase the adhesion should be used. The type and amount of adhesive agent should be correlated with given aggregate and asphalt binder. The tests was performed by four methods acc. with PN-EN 12697-11:2012 method A, method B, method C and PN-84/B-06714. In testes there were used aggregates with different SiO2 content (dolomite, limestone, basalt, gabbro, melaphyre, quartzite and post-glacial), different asphalt binders and different adhesive agents. The main aim of tests was to find correlation between different available methods for different asphalt binders and aggregates.

Bardzo ważnym elementem, który należy uwzględnić przy projektowaniu składu mieszanek mineralno-asfaltowych (mma) jest powinowactwo fizykochemiczne lepiszcza asfaltowego do kruszywa. Istnieje wiele metod badawczych do jego określania, jednak otrzymywane wówczas wyniki mogą być zupełnie odmienne. Podczas dwuletniego programu badawczego oceniono wpływ różnych czynników na wyniki badań oraz możliwość spełnienia wymagań postawionych w różnych krajach.

Very important element, which shall be taken into account while designing asphalt mixes, is the physicochemical affinity of asphalt binder to aggregate. There are many test methods for its determination, but the results can be totally different. During the two years research program, there were determined the influence of different factors on the test results, and the possibility of fulfilling the requirements given in different countries.

W pracy omawiany jest algorytm klasyfikacji immunologicznej, który działa w oparciu o model selekcji klonalnej, z wykorzystaniem konkurencyjnego klonowania sekwencyjnego w zakresie wyboru celu. Skoncentrowano się na mutacji operatorów i wstępnej selekcji oraz, zasad doboru antygenów docelowych. Do klasyfikacji przeciwciał, które nie były głównym wyborem zaproponowano użycie przeciwciał-delegatów ze znanymi, należącymi do klas metodami.

In this paper considered the immune object classification algorithm that works on the model selection of clones using sequential cloning competitive-target selection. The focus is on the mutation operators and the primary selection, principles of selection of target antigens. For the antibodies classification that have not been the primary selection we proposed using antibodies-delegates with known methods, belonging to classes.

Some spatial construction of common points of two coaxial and coplanar conics

Some planar problem of finding intersection points of two coaxial conics is solved by using a simple construction in the space. The construction is based on the theorem about the two quadrics intersection curve reducibility to two conics .

Rozwiązanie płaskiego zadania wyznaczania punktów wspólnych dwóch stożkowych położonych współosiowo uzyskano poprzez „wyjście w przestrzeń”. Prosta konstrukcja oparta jest na znanym twierdzeniu o rozpadzie na dwie stożkowe linii przenikania dwóch powierzchni obrotowych opisanych na wspólnej kuli. Szczegółowy opis konstrukcji podano w przypadku elipsy i okręgu. Ogólny przypadek można sprowadzić do rozważanego przekształcając jedną ze stożkowych na okrąg przez stosowne powinowactwo lub kolineację środkową.

In the paper arbitrary axes (diameters) of an ellipse and an arbitrary axis of affinity are assumed. Next a circle affine with an ellipse is constructed The constructions are presented for an arbitrary location of axis of affinity.
