W pracy przedstawiono aspekty technologiczne wytwarzania tekstury powierzchniowej metodami elektroerozyjną i laserową. Wymienione tekstury będą miały zastosowanie na powierzchniach roboczych par ślizgowych węzłów tarcia takich jak łożyska ślizgowe wzdłużne i uszczelnienia czołowe pomp. W przedstawionych badaniach omawia się związki pomiędzy parametrami procesu a geometrią pojedynczego elementu tekstury.

The technological aspects of production of superficial texture in report were introducing the method the EDM and laser. Exchanged the texture will be used on surfaces on the sliding rings of bearings and mechanical seals of pumps. The relationships introduced in the investigations presents relations among parameters of process and the geometry of individual unit of texture.

The work presents the preliminary test results concerning the texturing process for friction pairs with flat surfaces. The Nd:YAG laser was applied to treat SiC face seal rings with the following dimensions do = 35.3 mm, di= 25.1 mm and h = 8 mm. The series of homogeneous textures obtained during the experiments differed in the diameters of cavities (70-150 žm) and the distances between the centres of symmetry axes (106-279 žm). The depth, g, was constant: 15 žm. A procedure was developed to select technological parameters for the texturing process. The experiments included a microscopic analysis of the whole unit and single craters as well as tribological tests using a T-01M pin-on-disc tester. The theoretical analysis focused on such aspects of texture in friction pairs as a change in contact surface and contact load and physical relationships between the lubricating liquid and the textured surface. The results of the preliminary tribological tests show the suitability of the method applied and the efficiency of the texture of friction pairs operating under mixed friction conditions.
