Knowledge of the soil temperature distribution at the surface is essential in analysis of both natural and disturbed (with a heated building) soil temperature profile. The article presents heat and moisture transfer between soil surface and surrounding air, which is expressed by the heat balance at the soil surface.

Mathematical basis for computer aided design of ground surfaces microgeometric structure are presented in the paper. Basis under which this algorithm is developed is the copying of the grinding wheel active profile in to the machined surface.
