Drawing up the enegry balance for needs of assessing the energy efficiency of marine power plant

At present, when fuel resources are becoming increasingly limited, in the face of ever-increasing demand for energy, and constantly risingjuel prices, energy efficiency evaluation issues are of particular importance. The above factors alsoforce activities almedat obtaining energy from renewable sources (RES). Furthermore, the current global climate changes, caused by emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs), that accompany the production of energy, force an action to be taken in order toprotect the environment. Conseąuently, the directions ofthe current research studies, and financing there of, are oriented towards the search for new technologies and the development of new eguipment which provide energy efficiency even higher than before as well as the possibility of obtaining energy from renewable sources. The problem of drawing up the energy balance, presented in this paper, has been narrowed to issues related to maritime transport, and especially to the assessment of the energy efficiency in the process of marine power plant operation. The article presents the concept ofdrawing up the energy balance, together with the results of studies in this regard, concerning a selected marinę power plant. On the basis of research results obtained, one can assess the energy efficiency of the selected marine power plant and analyse the potential of its increase. The article also presents directions of efforts undertaken in marine power plant design, and dlscusses their examples, with the aim of increasing their energy efficiency and protection of the marine environment.

W artykule przedstawiono wpływ obowiązujących rozwiązań w zakresie rynku bilansującego na eksploatację elektrowni na przykładzie Elektrowni Opole SA oraz propozycję zmian zasad funkcjonowania rynku bilansującego, eliminujące negatywny wpływ tego segmentu rynku na uzyskanie wskaźniki.

The paper presents an influence of up-to-date solutions in the field of balancing market on a power plant operation. There are also discussed proposals of changes including rules governing balancing market funtioning. These changes eliminate a negative influence of this market segment on the obtained indexes.

Artykuł przedstawia szczegółowe założenia nadrzędnego symulacyjnego modułu programowego w zintegrowanym systemie zarządzania, na przykładzie systemu R/3 firmy SAP AG, przeznaczonego dla wspomagania procesu podejmowania i optymalizacji decyzji eksploatacyjnych elektrowni. Moduł, pod względem matematycznym będzie modelem symulacyjnym (w trybie symulacji zorientowanej na zdarzenia, dyskretnej, ze zmiennym krokiem), odwzorującym w sposób zagregowany relacje relacje ruchu, gospodarki remontowej oraz gospodarki ekonomiczno-finansowej elektrowni. Moduł umożliwi optymalizację ważnych decyzji eksploatacyjnych elektrowni, takich jak: wielkość produkcji i formy sprzedaży energii, dobór paliwa, parametry cykli remontowych bloków energetycznych itp.

The paper presents detailed guidelines concerning simulation program master in an integrated amnagement system, on the basis of R/3 system of SAP AG, designed for aid to decisions making and optimization of the power plant operation decisions. a module, as regards mathematics, will be a simulator model (in a mode of simulation oriented to some events, discrete and with changeable step). This model maps in an associated way relations of repairing management and economic and financial administration of a power plant. The module will enable to optimize such important operation decisions as: generation scale and selling forms, fuel selection, parameters of overhaul of power units life.
