The evaluation of the effects of transport collision often takes the form of ground reconnaissance. Undoubtedly, remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) can support and help the police, firefighters, security agents and paramedics in the event of a transport collision. Although there is a scarce amount of literature concerning the use of RPAS in crisis management, it is important to pay more attention to the benefits of this technology. The article describes the danger of collisions, as well as discusses the possibility of using RPAS, their functionality and potential utility. Sensors installed on RPAS can rapidly identify the place of the accident, the number of casualties, the type of damaged vehicles or the type of contamination.

Omówiono tematykę wykorzystania dopplerowskiej metody lokalizacji (Signal Doppler Frequency location method) do poszukiwania na morzu rozbitków wyposażonych w radiopławy. Przedstawiono ocenę dokładności estymacji pozycji lokalizowanego obiektu, z jednoczesnym uwzględnieniem problematyki ograniczonego czasu realizacji procedury lokalizacyjnej. Analizę dokładności metody SDF przeprowadzono na podstawie badań symulacyjnych.

This paper describes the problems of using the Signal Doppler Frequency (SDF) location method (Doppler location method of the radio emission sources) in SAR (Search And Rescue) actions. The paper presents the way of using SDF technique for rescue purposes. In addition, it assesses the efficiency of the SDF method in the process of determining radiobeacons location coordinates. The assessment has been based on simulation results for a given measurement scenario including the occurrence of additive interference in the radio channel.
