In this paper, a new method based on phase congruency is proposed to measure pitch lengths and surface braiding angles of two-dimensional biaxial braided composite preforms. Lab space transform and BM3D (block-matching and 3D filter) are used first to preprocess the original acquired images. A corner detection algorithm based on phase congruency is then proposed to detect the corners of the preprocessed images. Pitch lengths and surface braiding angles are finally measured based on the detected corner maps. Experimental results show that our method achieves the automatic measurement of pitch lengths and the surface braiding angles of biaxial braided composite preforms with high accuracy.

This article highlights the specifics of on-board recorders among the various systems found on aircraft. Attention is drawn to the legal and technical compliance requirements concerning modern on-board recorders. Reference is also made to certain aspects of recording methods and data security. Furthermore, the paper especially focuses on the process of measuring a parameter, indicating the basic criteria regarding the accuracy of the measurement. In addition, the role of two essential elements in the measuring chain is discussed: the feeder as a parameter measurer and the transformation system, i.e., AC converter.

This paper describes the evaluation of parameters of a three-phase induction motor with broken rotor bars. Using standard d-q model of induction motor the electric and magnetic asymmetry can be expressed through differently modified rotor parameters in both axes. A non-standard, one-phase measuring method was employed. To assess the measurement results of the method and to predict various situations which can not be achieved by measurements an extensive finite element analysis has been performed.

Niniejszy artykuł opisuje ocenę parametrów trójfazowego silnika indukcyjnego z pękniętym prętem wirnika. Za pomocą standardowego modelu d-q silnika indukcyjnego, elektryczna i magnetyczna asymetria może być wyrażona przez inne zmodyfikowane parametry wirnika w obu osiach. Zastosowana została niestandardowa, jednofazowa metoda pomiaru. W celu oceny wyników pomiarów metody i zapobiegania różnym sytuacjom niemożliwym do zmierzenia zastosowano obszerną analizę elementów skończonych.

Innowacyjność rozwiązania przejawia się w strukturze systemu, która może być modyfikowana przez użytkownika odpowiednio do aktualnych potrzeb pomiarowych oraz w zastosowanych algorytmach przetwarzania sygnałów.

The work contains a brief description of constructed system of road traffic parameters measurement Traffic-1. Innovativeness of the solution is manifested in the structure of the system that can be modified by the user adequately to current measurement needs and in the used algorithms of signals processing.

The several methods for estimation of oscillatory system parameters have been presented. All considered methods use the result of measurement of system step response. The disadvantages and advantages as well as scope of application of methods under consideration have been deeply discussed. These comparative discussion seems to be helpful in decision process aimed at choice of best method for given circumstances.

Wymagania stawiane transformatorom pomiarowym dotyczą przede wszystkim obwodów magnetycznych. Ich konstrukcja ma zapewnić przetwarzanie sygnału z wystarczającą dokładnością. Bezstratna transformacja energii w magnetowodach transformatorów pomiarowych wymaga od materiałów zastosowanych do ich konstrukcji coraz lepszych właściwości magnetycznych - minimalnych strat oraz maksymalnych przenikalności względnych. W pracy opisano nową konstrukcję magnetowodów prądowych transformatorów pomiarowych, których budowę oparto na współczesnych amorficznych materiałach magnetycznych. Przedstawiono wyniki badań i właściwości metrologiczne przekładników zbudowanych z tych materiałów.

The requirements towards measuring transformers concern first of all magnetic circuits. Their construction has to assure signal transformation with sufficient accuracy. The loss-free transformation of energy in magnetic cores of measuring transformers requires application of materials of better and better magnetic properties, that is- maximum relative permeability and minimum losses. The new construction of measuring current transformer magnetic cores built of modem amorphous magnetic materials is presented in the paper. The results of investigations and metrological properties of the transformers using such cores are given in the paper as well.

In the article different metod of measurement of the reducing liner parameters and arising of the cumulative stream by resistance sensor which was placed inside the explosive charge are presented. The changing speed during reducing of resistance sensor length and acceleration for shape charge in casing and without it for the different angles of the cumulative liner was analyzed.

Analizowano zmianę w czasie długości, prędkości i przyspieszenia skracającego się czujnika rezystancyjnego dla ładunków kumulacyjnych w obudowie i bez niej oraz dla różnych kątów wkładek kumulacyjnych.
