In the paper a general mathematical model of the drive system for a polymerization reactor based on the induction motor with a pipe body is presented. The abovementioned model may be considered as an universal model for the drive systems made in a vertical version dealing with a composite form of the torques loading a system. The examples of dependencies that allow for consideration of the composite torques in the mathematical model are given.

W artykule przedstawiono ogólny model matematyczny układu napędowego reaktora polimeryzacji z asynchronicznym silnikiem indukcyjnym w wykonaniu rurowym, który może być modelem uniwersalnym dla układów napędowych w wersji pionowej w których występuje złożona forma momentów oporowych obciążających układ. Podano przykładowe zależności umożliwiające uwzględnienie w modelu matematycznym złożonych momentów oporowych.

The equivalent circuit of specially designed induction motor for a main drive system of polymerization reactor

In the paper a construction of specially designed induction motor for a main drive system of polymerization reactor taking into account the power loss in large-size slide bearing made of sintered carbides is described. The constructional details of motor-bearing set allowing for vertical operation of motor are also given (1), (2). The analysis of power distribution taking into account a slide friction loss in bearing is presented. Resistances of equivalent circuit secondary part as additional vertical branches are determined. The equations describing specially designed induction motor for drive system of polymerization reactor are given. In the equations the loss in large-size slide bearing is taken into account. The equations allow determining static characteristics of the motor. Moreover, in equivalent circuit the phenomenon of agglutination of rotor with stator is taken into account as a result of polymerization phases in reactor chamber where the motor is placed.
