Contribution gives an overview of knowledge about the method of centrifugal casting with orientate on Tekcast system. Company Tekcast Industries has developed a device for centrifugal casting, extending the area of production of castings or prototyping of metal or plastic. Materials suitable for the centrifugal casting with flexible operating parameters may include non-ferrous metal alloy based on zinc or aluminum or non-metallic materials such as polyester resins, polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, waxes and the like. The casting process is particularly suitable for a wide range of commercial castings and decorative objects.

Due to the problem that represents the accelerated production of waste from the consumption of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), it becomes necessary to look for alternative solutions; chemical recycling is a suitable method for conversion into a material with potential application in concrete additive, such as unsaturated polyester resins; with the above improvements and conservation of non-renewable raw materials can reduce the environmental impact. This investigation was focused on obtaining the synthesis of a polymeric resin by the method of glycolysis, and their characterization by Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR); the results show that the recycled materials (PET and its processing) are similar to reagents made ​​from primary materials so that it is considered feasible to use in the intended application.

The functional resins with amino ligands were synthesized by the modification of vinylbenzyl chloride- divinylbenzene copolymers gels (VBC/DVB) with the aliphatic and aromatic amines. Two methods of modification were employed, the first one was traditional heating of the polymer with either neat amine or amine solution in an appropriate solvent, the second method was heating of reaction mixture in a microwave reactor. These polymeric materials were characterized using nitrogen and chlorine elemental analysis. The polymeric resins were used for the removal of gold from ammonium buffer that contains 100 g/L NHrH20 and 50.0 g/L (NIL^SO.!. All resins were highly selective for the gold(I) from ammonia solution and they did not sorb ammine complexes of copper(II).
