The authors designed and prepared a model of insulation system of considerable moisture inhomogeneity. The model consisted of parts of various moisture content connected in parallel and in series. The paper presents results of polarization spectrum investigation of oil-paper insulation system of considerable moisture inhomogeneity. An influence of oil resistivity on dielectric response was analyzed too with the use of insulation system models.
