Power units start-ups involve heating processes of steam pipelines. Steam temperature variation rate is of great importance not only because of pipe wall thermal stresses, but also because of stresses in fittings installed on the pipeline, which are expensive[1,2]. A method for determining time-optimum medium temperature changes is presented. The heating of the pressure elements will be conducted in such a way, that the thermal circumferential stresses at the inner surface of the pipe at the given distance from the pipeline inlet do not exceed the allowable values.

Pola temperatur w czynniku grzewczym oraz w ściance rurociągu zostały wyznaczone przy użyciu metody objętości skończonej. Zmienna w czasie odpowiedź czynnika i ścianki rurociągu oraz naprężenia cieplne na powierzchni zewnętrznej i wewnętrznej rurociągu zostały obliczone za pomocą metody numerycznej przy skokowej zmianie temperatury czynnika na wlocie do rurociągu. Optymalne zmiany temperatury czynnika na wlocie do rurociągu w trakcie procesu nagrzewania wyznaczono przy użyciu całki Duhamela.
