The article presents a semantic analysis of the concept of inclusion, which – treated as the central category for Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (United Nations) – requires further definition. Initially, I outline the history and etymology of the word inclusion, provide various contexts of its use in Polish common language and in the academic area, take a closer look at the word family as well as synonyms and antonyms of the term inclusion (especially exclusion). Next, I explore functions of the concept of inclusion (descriptive, explanatory, normative) and problems regarding the concept. The conclusion contains four types of referents of the term inclusion.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest pojęcie inkluzji, centralne dla celu 16 Agendy na Rzecz Zrównoważonego Rozwoju 2030 Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych. Termin inkluzja jest jednak wieloznaczny i jego znaczenie wymaga doprecyzowania. Przeprowadzam w tekście analizę semiotyczną tego terminu, poczynając od rysu historyczno-etymologicznego, poprzez sposoby użycia terminu inkluzja w języku polskim i w różnych dziedzinach wiedzy, oraz przyglądam się rodzinie wyrazowej tego terminu, jego synonimom, bliskoznacznikom i antonimom, a wśród tych ostatnich przede wszystkim terminowi ekskluzja. Analizuję następnie funkcje pojęcia inkluzji (opisowo-wyjaśniającą i normatywną) oraz referuję spory wokół pojęcia inkluzji. W części końcowej proponuję typologię desygnatów terminu inkluzja.

This paper introduces cloud manufacturing (CMfg) as a new manufacturing paradigm that joins the emerging technologies – such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and service-oriented technologies – for solving complex problems in manufacturing applications and performing large-scale collaborative manufacturing. Using scientific publications indexed in Scopus database during the period 2012–2017, the concept and fundamentals of CMfg are presented and discussed given the results of the most recent research. While focusing on the current state of the art, the recent research trends within CMfg concept were also identified. The review involved the methods of bibliometric analysis and network analysis. A prototype of CMfg and the existing related work conducted by various researchers are presented, and the map of co-occurrence is introduced to indicate the most commonly occurring issues related to the “cloud manufacturing” term. The VOSviewer software was used for this purpose. Finally, cloud-based manufacturing areas for further research are identified.

The paper focuses on the meta-model notions and introduces new terminology to the meta-modeling discipline. This terminology refers to the new concept of Context-Driven Meta-Modeling (CDMM), which is more general then other approaches to defining modeling languages. In the result it extends the metamodeling domain vocabulary. All notions in the paper were introduced on the basis of the decomposition of responsibilities identified in meta-models. Till now modeling languages were assumed to be compact and monolithic structures, in contrast to good design practices, not being a subject of any decomposition. The system of notions introduced in the paper is general enough to be sufficient when Context-Driven MetaModeling Paradigm (CDMM-P) is combined with the traditional class-object paradigm.

Artykuł ten skoncentrowany jest na pojęciach metamodelu i wprowadza nową terminologię do dyscypliny metamodelowania. Terminologia ta odnosi się do nowej koncepcji Contex-Driven Meta-Modeling (CDMM), bardziej ogólnej niż inne podejścia do definiowania języków modelowania. W efekcie rozszerza ona słownictwo dziedziny metamodelowania. Wszystkie pojęcia zostały wprowadzone na podstawie dekompozycji odpowiedzialności zidentyfikowanych w metamodelach. Dotąd języki modelowania były traktowane wbrew dobrym praktykom projektowym jako zwarte monolityczne struktury niepoddawane żadnej dekompozycji. System pojęć wprowadzonych w artykule jest wystarczająco ogólny do zastosowania w łączeniu paradygmatu Context-Driven Meta-Modeling Paradigm (CDMM-P) z tradycyjnym paradygmatem klasowo-obiektowym.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie metod motywowania pracowników we współczesnej organizacji. We wstępie przedstawiono pojęcie i znaczenie motywowania. W dalszej części pracy porównano podejście do motywowania w nowoczesnej firmie polskiej i zagranicznej oraz wskazano oryginalne sposoby motywowania na przykładzie znanych firm. Na koniec autor podjął rozważania na temat, jak skutecznie motywować w dobie kryzysu, podkreślając, że nie należy zapominać, iż motywacja to nie tylko wynagradzanie, ale również między innymi pobudzanie do rozwoju, umacnianie przywiązania do pracy i swojego przedsiębiorstwa. Z motywacji płyną same korzyści, dlatego też tak istotne jest właściwe motywowanie we współczesnej organizacji, które przekłada się na osiągane przez nią wyniki.

Indicating methods of motivating employees in the contemporary organization is a purpose of the article. To begin with this publication was described the notion and the significance of motivating. Hereinafter the work was compared attempt at motivating in the modern Polish and foreign company and original ways of motivating on the example of reputed firms were indicated. In the end the author took considering to the subject, how effectively to motivate in twenty four hours of the crisis emphasizing that one should not forget that motivation isn’t only rewarding, but also among others stimulating to the development, strengthening tying to the work and one’s enterprise. From motivation very benefits are swimming, therefore due motivating is so significant in the contemporary organization which is being transferred into results achieved by her.

Prednáška je zameraná na prípravu nového územného plánu mesta Košicez hľadiska vecných cieľov a princípov, ktoré sa v jeho riešení uplatňujú, a z hľadiska metodického prístupu k jeho tvorbe. V prvej časti bude prednáška zameraná na charakteristiku mesta Košice, jeho polohu v prírodnom prostredí a úlohu v sídelnej štruktúre, vývoj mesta v jednotlivých obdobiach a spoločenských zriadeniach a vymenovanie pozitívnych a negatívnych faktorov mesta. V druhej časti bude prednáška zameraná na hlavné princípy a ciele, na ktorých je koncepcia tvorby nového územného plánu založená a charakteristiku novej metódy spracovania územného plánu.

The lecture is focused on the preparation of a new territorial plan of the city of Košice in terms of the objectives and principles used in its solution. The terms used in the creation of the methodical approach. The lecture will focus on the characteristics of the city of Košice. Its location in the natural environment. Its role in the settlement structure, the development of the city in particular periods and social institutions and the appointment of positive and negative factors of the city in the first part. In the second part of the lecture we will focus on the main principles and objectives underlying the concept of creating a new zoning plan established and characterization of a new method of processing land-use plan.

Purpose –The purpose of the research paper is to analyze collected ‘business model‘ definitions (according to 'Oxford Dictionary of English word 'Definition' means: an exact statement or description of the nature, scope, or meaning of something') and identify the key words that describe this concept. As well as propose our own definition of ‘Business Model‘ in the one of the spheres of management field. Design/methodology/approach -We have gathered a literature review of the business model concept. To analyze the definitions we have used the 'Leximancer', 'Voyant' and 'Checktext' software. In addition to make better visual presentation we have used 'Wordle' application. Findings -There are different business model definitions that might encumber the understanding of main message. A critical challenge to business model research is its lack of coherence. Practical implications -Collected data could be used in further research and development of rapidly developing concept of 'Business Model'. Originality/value -The article explored the roots of the concept, presented the evidence of popularity it has achieved as well as highlighted confusion in academic literature concerning this term. And finally showed the correlation between key words that define the business model.

Większość polskich norm (PN-EN), w tym norm dotyczących projektowania konstrukcji budowlanych, zawiera wykaz (rozdział) stosowanych definicji i terminów. Podawane w nich terminy i definicje powinny być zgodne z dotychczas znaną i stosowaną terminologią budowlaną, a w przypadku terminów nowych powinny uwzględniać tą terminologię. Zastępowanie terminów dotychczas stosowanych terminami nowymi może mieć miejsce tylko w uzasadnionych przypadkach. W niniejszym artykule omówione zostały terminy podane w PN-EN 1996-1-1, które, naszym zdaniem, zawierają pewne nieścisłości i wymagają korekty.

Most of the Polish norms (PN-EN), including the norms covering the area of building design, contain a list (chapter) of the definitions and terms used throughout the content of the document. The terms and definitions supplied shall be compliant with the construction and civil engineering terminology applied so far. In case of the new terms, the old ones shall also be taken into account. Replacement of the terms that have been used so far, with the new ones, may only take place in the justified cases. The present article discusses the PN-EN 1996-1-1 norm and the contained terms which – in our opinion – contain lack of coherence, and require to be amended and corrected.
