Celem artykułu jest wskazanie metod motywowania pracowników we współczesnej organizacji. We wstępie przedstawiono pojęcie i znaczenie motywowania. W dalszej części pracy porównano podejście do motywowania w nowoczesnej firmie polskiej i zagranicznej oraz wskazano oryginalne sposoby motywowania na przykładzie znanych firm. Na koniec autor podjął rozważania na temat, jak skutecznie motywować w dobie kryzysu, podkreślając, że nie należy zapominać, iż motywacja to nie tylko wynagradzanie, ale również między innymi pobudzanie do rozwoju, umacnianie przywiązania do pracy i swojego przedsiębiorstwa. Z motywacji płyną same korzyści, dlatego też tak istotne jest właściwe motywowanie we współczesnej organizacji, które przekłada się na osiągane przez nią wyniki.

Indicating methods of motivating employees in the contemporary organization is a purpose of the article. To begin with this publication was described the notion and the significance of motivating. Hereinafter the work was compared attempt at motivating in the modern Polish and foreign company and original ways of motivating on the example of reputed firms were indicated. In the end the author took considering to the subject, how effectively to motivate in twenty four hours of the crisis emphasizing that one should not forget that motivation isn’t only rewarding, but also among others stimulating to the development, strengthening tying to the work and one’s enterprise. From motivation very benefits are swimming, therefore due motivating is so significant in the contemporary organization which is being transferred into results achieved by her.

Influence of seed treatment on organic and conventional red beet seeds

Three methods of pre-sowing treatments - seed priming, rinsing and rubbing were applied on organic and conventional red beet seeds of Karmazyn variety from PlantiCo Zielonki Sp. z o.o. In most cases the improvement of germination ability, speed and uniformity were observed. Seed lots from different reproduction systems showed different reactions - rinsing was most efficient method for organic seeds, for conventional ones - priming of seeds. All used methods improved organic seed quality, but conventional seeds germination ability and speed was decreased by rinsing. Examined methods are safe for the environment and plants and are allowed to use in ecological crop production.

Trzy metody przedsiewnej poprawy jakości nasion - ocieranie, płukanie i pobudzanie użyte zostały do ekologicznych i konwencjonalnych nasion buraka ćwikłowego odmiany Karmazyn pochodzących z PlantiCo Zielonki sp. z o.o. W większości doświadczeń obserwowano zwiększenie zdolności, szybkości i równomierności kiełkowania. Nasiona pochodzące z różnych systemów reprodukcji odmiennie reagowały na zabiegi uszlachetniające. W przypadku nasion ekologicznych najlepszą metodą było płukanie. Natomiast zdolność i szybkość kiełkowania nasion konwencjonalnych po płukaniu zmniejszała się. Używane metody były bezpieczne dla środowiska i roślin i mogły być wykorzystane w rolnictwie ekologicznym.

Remote Sensing Data Binary Classification Using Boosting with Simple Classifiers

Boosting is a classification method which has been proven useful in non-satellite image processing while it is still new to satellite remote sensing. It is a meta-algorithm, which builds a strong classifier from many weak ones in iterative way. We adapt the AdaBoost.M1 boosting algorithm in a new land cover classification scenario based on utilization of very simple threshold classifiers employing spectral and contextual information. Thresholds for the classifiers are automatically calculated adaptively to data statistics. The proposed method is employed for the exemplary problem of artificial area identification. Classification of IKONOS multispectral data results in short computational time and overall accuracy of 94.4% comparing to 94.0% obtained by using AdaBoost.M1 with trees and 93.8% achieved using Random Forest. The influence of a manipulation of the final threshold of the strong classifier on classification results is reported.

Artykuł składa się z czterech części. W całości zawiera uzasadnienie, że dowodzenie, stosowane w organizacjach zhierarchizowanych, jest immanentną częścią zarządzania. Treści wywodu są poprzedzone wprowadzeniem wskazującym na niedostatki w zarządzaniu. Dwie kolejne części (druga i trzecia) zawierają argumentację przemawiającą za potrzebą uwzględniania dowodzenia w ogólnej teorii zarządzania. Całość zamyka krótkie zakończenie, nawiązujące do istoty problemu oraz bibliografia.

This article consists of four parts. In its entirety, it includes justification for the fact that command, used in hierarchical organizations is an immanent part of management. The contents are preceded by introduction pointing to deficiencies in management. Two following parts (the second and the third) contain arguments for the need of considering command in the general theory of management. The whole concludes with a short ending referring to the essence of the problem and bibliography.

The oil instabilities could occur in journal bearings. New suggested way to prevent the instability is to use controlled external excitation. The relationship between the external excitation and the reaction of the journal is described in the article. This relationship was measured using the model rotor kit RK4. The measured values were compared with the mathematical model. The aim is contribute to setting of the feedback control function.

V kluzných ložiscích může za určitých okolností nastat jev, kterému se říká nestabilita olejového filmu. Nově navrhovanou metodou pro zabránění tohoto jevu je použití řízeného vnějšího buzení pomocí aktuátorů. V článku je popsáno jaký vliv má nesynchronní vnějšího buzení a kdy dojde k potlačení nestability olejového filmu, při otáčkách na počátku vzniku nestability.
