In this article the problem of modularity of designing devices for automation of assembly processes is presented. There is shown an idea and solution of device oriented at pneumatic connector assembly process. The construction of the proposed device is modular and contribute to cost saving of its implementation. Furthermore, main advantage of the proposed device is its universality based on replace ability of the component modules.
