Artykuł opisuje projekt, realizację oraz założenia do monitoringu monolitycznej platformy żelbetowej, stanowiącej element konstrukcji zabezpieczającej przed wpływami deformacji geologiczno-górniczymi.

The section of A1 motorway from Piekary Śląskie to Pyrzowice runs through areas of an active mining operation. These areas are also situated in the faulting areas posing greatest threat to highway facilities and pavement of the motorway due to high likelihood of discontinuous deformation. The most unfavorable in this respect is radzionkowski fault, located in the "Piekary Śląskie" junction. Current mining operations in the region creates favorable conditions for its activation. However the possibility of discontinuous deformation is undoubtedly related to the multi-level, shallow exploitation of lead and zinc ores.
