Complex Sorption Treatment of Industrial Waste and Production of Plastic Lubricants

The article deals with the studies on complex sorption treatment of industrial waste of various industries to obtain new C, S, N-containing plastic lubricants, which provide antiwear, antifriction, high load-bearing and heat-resistant properties. The conditions for obtaining diethylammonium salt from the obsolete pesticide Banvel D and its sorption on a mixed sorbent, which consist of activated carbon (AC) and kieselguhr (K), have been established. The conditions for obtaining potassium diethyldithiocarbamate and its adsorption on the surface of the mixed sorbent (AC + K), followed by treatment with copper(II) sulfate of corresponding bis-(diethyldithiocarbamato)copper(II) sorbed on a solid surface, have been examined. The obtained substances of general composition [sorbent (AC + K)]·[(C2H5 )2NS(=S)S]2Cu were studied as active components of plastic lubricants, which provide their thickening, antiwear and antifriction properties. Industrial tribological research was carried out for friction pairs of four-row roller bearings of roller equipment used at private enterprise (PE) "Exim" (Kherson, Ukraine).

W artykule rozważono parametry, które bezpośrednio wpływają na zużycie koła pojazdu szynowego, współpracującego z szyną. Zidentyfikowano podstawowe czynniki (obciążenie, prędkość jazdy i temperaturę) wpływające na wartość współczynnika tarcia (sprzężenia) koła napędowego z szyną w czasie ruchu. Na podstawie wyników uzyskanych podczas testów przeprowadzonych za pomocą aparatu Amslera opisano deformacje i uszkodzenia powstające w warstwach wierzchnich koła i szyny w zależności od poślizgów. Zwrócono także uwagę na znaczenie makro- i mikropoślizgów, wynikających z deformacji warstwy wierzchniej koła i szyny, jak też występowanie anizotropii tarcia tocznego w styku koła i szyny. Kolejnym poruszonym problemem jest budowa łożysk, stosowanych w nowoczesnych wagonach. Ze względów bezpieczeństwa łożyska te są wyposażane w kontrolę temperatury w czasie ruchu pociągu.

The paper discusses the factors directly influencing the wear of the wheel-rail couple and on the draw of the locomotives. The authors discussed what factors, including the load, speed, temperature, have an influence on the coefficients of the friction of the wheel of the locomotives by traction. Tribological tests at an Amsler stand have been investigated to show what kind of layers deformation are and what influences it including two types of rail steel, i.e. with or without thermal treatment on the wear (pitting). The authors investigate anisotropic friction wheel rail and micro sleeps on the deformations of layers. The paper also includes a discussion the bearings in the carriages with temperature control, which has great influence on the security of the truck of the trains.

A review of the kinds of applied plastic lubricants and development tendencies of their new generations. Basic information on their constitution and areas of their application.Discussion of the rheological properties of the lubricants which play an essential part in functioning of the lubrication systems and their automatic action. Basic kinds of the central lubrication systems, their applications, design features of the individual elements of these systems and influence of the design parameters of these elements of the operation reliability of the whole system. Analysis of the influence of the kind of lubricant, conditions of operation of the frictional joint and also its construction on the lubricant consumption and lubrication intervals.
