A study is devoted to an outstanding figure of 18th century - Jan Krzysztof Kluk, considered to be the father of modem academic literature on mining and metallurgy. As a unique personality of his time, he had brilliant achievements in the area of textile studies writing. Unfortunately they are unnoticed by us, modern audience.
