W pierwszej części artykułu zostało omówione zawodowe narażenie na substancje i preparaty chemiczne o działaniu rakotwórczym lub mutagennym w Polsce w latach 2005-2007. Natomiast w drugiej części omówiono czynniki fizyczne (promieniowanie jonizujące), biologiczne (WZW typu B i C) oraz procesy technologiczne (procesy związane z narażeniem na WWA z produktów węglopochodnych oraz prace w narażeniu na pył drewna twardego). Podobnie jak w poprzedniej części, wszelkie zbiorcze dane liczbowe o występowaniu w środowisku pracy i o narażeniu zawodowym na wymienione czynniki opracowano na podstawie informacji z centralnego rejestru danych o narażeniu na substancje, preparaty, czynniki i procesy technologiczne o działaniu rakotwórczym lub mutagennym.

Part 1 of this paper discussed occupational exposure to carcinogenic or mutagenic chemical substances and preparations in Poland in 2005-2007. Part 2 covers physical agents (ionizing radiation), biological agents (hepatitis B and C) and technological processes (processes connected with exposure to PAH from coal derivatives and work under exposure to hardwood dusts). Like in part 1, all cumulative quantitative data, concerning presence in the working environment and occupational exposure to carcinogens or mutagens, were prepared on the basis of information from the central register of data on exposure to substances, preparations, agents and technological processes of carcinogenic or mutagenic potential.

Physical agents cause several physical and mental health disorders and reduce human capability for work, in most severe cases they cause disability. Usually the influence of these physical factors takes place in the work environment and depends on the factor’s intensity, exposure time, and individual characteristics. Influence is cumulative and may manifest itself after a long period of time, in several years. It is recommended to follow internationally recognized limit values of factors and introduce medical control of people before they start working as well as periodical medical control. From the most widespread risk factors, this article deals with noise with the data obtained from objective studies on Estonia.
