Improving the service with the Servqual method

At the time when economy is growing, there is strong competition in the market, and customers have increasingly higher expectations as regards quality of service and products. Under such conditions, organizations need to improve. One of the areas of improvement for an organization is to research the level of customer satisfaction. The article presents results of customer satisfaction surveys conducted by the Servqual method in a pharmaceutical service company. Use of this method allowed to improve the services provided by that pharmaceutical wholesaler, identify areas that need to be improved as soon as possible in order to improve the level of service provided.

Współczesne przedsiębiorstwa powinny doskonalić zarządzanie, które jest ukierunkowane na jakość obsługi klienta. Jednym z kierunków doskonalenia organizacji w tym zakresie jest badanie poziomu satysfakcji klientów. W artykule zostały przedstawione wyniki badań satysfakcji klienta przeprowadzone za pomocą metody Servqual w firmie usługowej z branży farmaceutycznej. Zastosowanie tej metody pozwoliło na zidentyfikowanie luk w obszarze obsługi klienta w badanej hurtowni farmaceutycznej, co z kolei pozwoliło na zaproponowanie kierunków udoskonalenia świadczonych usług przez wskazanie obszarów, które należy poprawić w pierwszej kolejności, by móc podnieść poziom świadczonych usług.

Modern companies should improve management, which is focused on customer service quality. One of the areas of organization improvement in this area is to test the level of customer satisfaction. The article presents results of customer satisfaction surveys conducted by the Servqual method in a pharmaceutical service company. The use of this method enabled identifying gaps in the customer service area of the pharmaceutical wholesaler, which in turn allowed us to suggest directions for refining the services provided by identifying the areas to be improved in the first place in order to improve the level of service provided.

Badania prototypowego systemu do wyznaczania odzysku ciepła w centralach wentylacyjnych klimatyzowanych magazynów

W artykule zaprezentowano problematykę dotycząca kondycjonowania powietrza w klimatyzowanych magazynach o wysokich wymaganiach dotyczących standardu klimatu wewnętrznego. Problem omówiono na przykładzie magazynu funkcjonującego w hurtowni farmaceutycznej. Zgodnie z zasadami Dobrej Praktyki Dystrybucyjnej, hurtownia farmaceutyczna musi posiadać pomieszczenia magazynowe do przechowywania leków, gwarantujące uzyskanie warunków temperaturowych określonych w odpowiednich świadectwach rejestracji. W celu uzyskania wymaganych parametrów cieplnych i wilgotności, przy zachowaniu urzędowych wymagań związanych energooszczędnością nowych budowli, konieczne jest stosowanie urządzeń zapewniających odzysk ciepła z powietrza usuwanego z pomieszczenia w procesie wentylacji. Spełnienie restrykcyjnych wymagań umożliwią jedynie urządzania rekuperacyjne charakteryzujące się wysoką sprawnością i skutecznością odzysku energetycznego. W artykule przedstawiono prototypowe urządzenie i metodykę badania central wentylacyjnych z odzyskiem ciepła wentylacyjnego. Podjęcie badań efektywności central wentylacyjnych stosowanych w klimatyzowanych halach magazynowych o zróżnicowanych rozwiązaniach technicznych wymagało zbudowania systemu pomiarowego odtwarzającego rzeczywiste warunki pracy badanego obiektu niezależnie od jego właściwości. W artykule przedstawiono proces badań i doskonalenia prototypu unikatowego systemu do wyznaczania parametrów eksploatacyjnych rekuperatorów ciepła stosowanych w systemach wentylacji mechanicznej. Doskonalenie systemu polegało na dostosowaniu jego rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych i funkcjonalnych do wymaganych warunków badań nowoczesnych urządzeń wyposażonych we własne systemy sterowania.

The article presents the issues of air conditioning in air-conditioned warehouses with high requirements as to the indoor climate . The problem is discussed on the example of a pharmaceutical warehouse. In accordance with the principles of Good Distribution Practice , a pharmaceutical wholesaler must have a separate storage facilities in which medicines are kept, and which guarantees temperature conditions specified in the relevant certificates of registrations. In order to obtain the required parameters of heat and humidity, and complying with the official requirements related to energy efficiency of new buildings, it is necessary to use equipment enabling the recovery of heat from the air sucked out from the room. These stringent requirements can be met only by recuperators with high energy recovery efficiency. The article presents a prototype device and methodology for the study of ventilation with heat recovery. The tests on the effectiveness of ventilation used in air-conditioned warehouses with different technical solutions, required the development of a measurement system reproducing the actual operating conditions of the object , regardless of its properties. The article presents the R&D process for the prototype of an original system for determining the operating parameters of heat recuperators used in mechanical ventilation systems . The improvement of the system consisted in the adaption of its structural and functional elements to test conditions required for modern equipment with own control systems.
