Legend scams pose a serious threat to seniors. Criminals are committed in order to manipulate the trust of seniors who often use social engineering. Despite high penalties for these acts, it is still one of the most dangerous scams. Criminals use various methods, often resorting to many tricks and using various disguises. At the same time, the high degree of conspiracy and the extensive construction of criminal groups committing frauds with legends is a big problem for law enforcement agencies. Therefore social programs are run to educate seniors and warn them against such scams. They are organized by various organizations and security services. Frauds with legends is constantly evolving to adapt to the current realities, which means that there is a constant need to increase the awareness of seniors and fight with this type of crime.

Żyjemy w świecie wielkich możliwości, ale i wielkich wymagań. Panuje bowiem powszechna zgoda, że XXI w. będzie wiekiem kultury. Ważnym elementem globalizacji społecznej jest globalizacja kultury. Proces ten powinien być rozumiany jako tworzenie się różnorodnych zależności i powiązań pomiędzy społeczeństwami i ich kulturami. Globalizacja kultury niesie ze sobą zmianę wartości i norm, zachwianie pamięci społecznej, spłycenie kultury. Dziś kultura to kultura konsumpcyjna, jej twórcą jest świat mediów i Internetu. Artykuł jest ważnym głosem w szerszej dyskusji dotyczącej wpływu globalizmu kulturowego na bezpieczeństwo człowieka. Autor jest przekonany, że globalizm kulturowy najbardziej wpływa na zagrożenia osobowościowo-społeczne człowieka. Ważną jego częścią jest opis bezpieczeństwa personalnego, w którym znacząco rolę odgrywa podmiotowość człowieka, wolność i odpowiedzialność zagrożeń kulturowych.

We live in a world of great opportunities, but also of boundless demands. It is generally agreed that the 21st century would be a century of culture. Globalization of culture is an important element of social globalization. This process should be understood as a formation of various relationships and dependencies between societies and their cultures. Globalization of culture entails a change in values and norms, a disturbance of social memory, and shallow culture. Presently culture has become a consumer culture, and it is created by the world of media and the Internet. The article is an important voice in a wider discussion on the impact of cultural globalism on human security. The author is convinced that cultural globalism to the greatest extent affects human personality and social hazards. An important part of it is the description of personal security, in which human subjectivity, freedom and responsibility of cultural threats play a significant role.

Treść artykułu pokazuje jak istotnym aspektem kształtowania bezpieczeństwa zdrowotnego i żywnościowego człowieka jest wykorzystanie dronów, tym bardziej że liczba i rodzaj zagrożeń ciągle wzrasta. Drony zaczęły swą intensywną ekspansję na polskim rynku dopiero kilka lat temu. Dynamiczny rozwój nastąpił w momencie, gdy stały się urządzeniami ogólnodostępnymi. Używa się ich w usługach, handlu, a także rekreacyjnie. Drony wyposażone w systemy telemetryczne czy kamery telewizyjne lub termowizyjne coraz częściej są stosowane w systemach bezpieczeństwa, m.in. w ochronie obiektów i gleby.

The article illustrates the importance of drones in shaping human health and food security, especially in view of the fact that the number and variety of risks are still growing. The intense expansion of drones on the Polish market started only a few years ago. The dynamic development took place when the drone became a generally accessible device. Drones are used in service, trade and recreation industries. They are equipped with telemetric systems, or TV and thermal imaging, and are more frequently used in security systems, inter alia, in the protection of facilities and soil.

The analysis of personal and structural security dimension is a focal reflection point of social contract theory creators. The genesis of the state is due to be searched in primeval security and safety need that leads an individual out of the state of nature and introduces the political order. The state is a creation of a human need to exist, survive and develop. Limitations that protectionism of political power brings are compensated by the personal security principle (relating to an individual entering the contract) and structural security (protecting the political structure).

Robots’ ethics is a new field of science and technology connected with a rapid development of the number of robots and their independence, as well as increasing awareness of threats in this area. Its implementation and in this way ensuring security and safety of its users and people surrounded them, also in case of failure or error is necessary in industrial, medical and military robotics. It is particularly important in medical robotics (rehabilitation including) and in automated environment such as an ambient intelligence (AmI) environment or intelligent home. It specially concerns robots in military applications which due to its character are exposed to more aggressive forms of affecting the environment, in which robots operate, that expose them to damage or destruction. The article attempts to analyse problems connected with the implementation of ethics principles in algorithms of operation of contemporary and future solutions.

Artykuł składa się z dwóch części: rozważań teoretycznych oraz relacji z badań empirycznych prowadzonych w środowisku młodzieży akademickiej. Na początku pierwszej części przedstawiono wybrane stanowiska podejmujące problem rozumienia i definiowania bezrobocia. Znajdują się tu rozróżnienia ekonomiczne, socjologiczne i psychologiczne, a także stanowisko katolickiej nauki społecznej. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono także pozytywne i negatywne skutki bezrobocia, rozróżniając efekty ekonomiczne i społeczne oraz skupiając się szczególnie na tych, które mają niewątpliwy wpływ na bezpieczeństwo osobiste i rodzinne, jak też zdrowie psychiczne i fizyczne osób dotkniętych bezrobociem. Pierwszą część kończą uwagi dotyczące sposobów przeciwdziałania bezrobociu, w których zasadniczą rolę odgrywają instytucje państwa. W drugiej części przedstawiono fragmenty badań demoskopowych, których celem było poznanie opinii na temat funkcjonowania rynku pracy oraz pozytywnych i negatywnych skutków bezrobocia. Wyniki zaprezentowano, przytaczając te wypowiedzi respondentów, które pokazują wpływ bezrobocia na bezpieczeństwo osobiste i rodziny bezrobotnego.

This paper is comprised of two parts: part one contains theoretical speculations and part two reports on empirical studies conducted among students. A few selected attempts to define and understand unemployment, are presented at the beginning of part one. Economic, social and psychological factors are described, as well as the position of Catholic Social Sciences. The positive and negative effects of unemployment are presented in the theoretical part of the paper. The economic and social effects are distinguished, focusing specifically on those which have an obvious influence on personal and family security, as well as, the psychological and physical well being of people affected by unemployment. Part one is concluded by remarks on the counteraction of unemployment, where national institutions play an important role. In the second part of the article, fragments of demoscopic studies are presented. Their aim was to collect opinions on the functioning of the job market, as well as the positive and negative effects of unemployment. The findings were presented along with examples of responses illustrating the effects of unemployment on personal and family security.
