The main goal of the article is to present the assumptions and results of six single-purpose models, including six traffic distribution patterns for passenger cars on the national and voivodship roads network in 2010 with the use of VISUM software. The results of the scientific exercise of a hypothetical situation, where all traffic is realized in one of six distinguished purposes. The additional goal is to show spatial implications resulting from the submission of six single-purpose models into one consisting of one multi-purpose model. Generally, the high level of matching in the single-purpose models (except for the tourist traffic) indicates the concentration of different types of traffic on the same sections. The multi-purpose model is the best fitted model (R2 = 0.72). This leads to the conclusion that the combination of six purposes in one model was successful and led to an improvement in its fit.

One of the factors influencing the level of traffic noise is the type of vehicles moving on the roads. The paper presents comprehensive research, as conducted by the authors, which sought to assess the traffic noise level generated by different means of transport. A comparison is made between the noise generated by personal cars, a truck and different types of motorcycle. The maximum sound level and the equivalent sound level emitted by the investigated means of transport were analysed in the entire frequency band and in the individual 1/3 octave bands. Based on the research, conclusions have been formulated regarding the influence of the different types of means of transport and their speeds on traffic noise near a road, along with possible ways to reduce its level.

Paper presents an empirical characteristic of operating conditions for selected category of passenger vehicles. Driving patterns was obtained during measurements performed in real traffic. In measurements vehicles moved on urban roads, rural roads and on highway. Instantaneous velocity was collected with frequency equal to 1 Hz from OBD system. After preliminary data analysis instantaneous acceleration was calculated for each of the recorded driving patterns. Then a matrix of discrete classes of motion states was applied in order to characterize operating conditions. Single class represents established range of instantaneous values of velocity and acceleration.

The study discusses results of investigations carried out in the course of driving a motorcar by a person with a locomotive disability. Driving tests were conducted in road conditions as well as on a manoeuvring sąuare. Observations concerned interactions of the disabled person during his/her utilisation of different pieces of equipment situated within the reach of the user's hands. The scope of the performed analysis covered investigations concerning somatic and receptor relationships in the man - technical means system and, to a lesser extent, dealt with the psychological aspects of vehicle driving. The investigations employed selected methods of Identification of expectations from direst users - video registration. Initial investigations were carried out for one person with a locomotive disability (paraplegia). Driver 's positions when performing various manoeuvres were initially compared with standard data (access to the comfort zone or comfort angles). The finał result of initial experiments is a description of the adjustment of the vehicle with equipment (manually-operated accelerator - brake) to the requirements of the driver with a locomotive disability. Moreover, the authors also give a list ofoperations, performed in the car, which require either assistance using technical means or redesigning in the motorcar.

Driving tests were conducted in road conditions, The scope of the performed analysis covered investigations concerning somatic and receptor relationships in the man - technical means system and, to a lesser extent, dealt with the psychological aspects of vehicle driving. The investigations employed selected methods of identification of expectations from direct users - questionnaire and interview. Initial investigations were carried out for one person with a locomotive disability (paraplegia). The authors used tests for the determination of subjective sensations during motorcar driving (comfort test and seat comfort). The employed questionnaire tools used verbal and point scales. The final result of initial experiments is a description of the adjustment of the vehicle with equipment (manually-operated accelerator - brake device) to the requirements of the driver with a locomotive disability on the basis of the driver 's subjective sensations of discomfort. This type of Information obtained in the form meeting the wishes or demands of the user provides the basis for the elaboration of design requirements. The results indicate that a typical driver's space designed for an able-bodied person does not fully meet the requirements of a person with a locomotive disability.
