When designing a product, a need arises for factors, such as costs, time, and quality - as the basic resultant quantities related to the profitability of production against its effectiveness and efficiency - to be planned and developed jointly rather than separately as quantities being targeted intentionally, already during product development. An example of such an approach is the manufacture of perforated platforms, which - as a result of evolution -have changed their design, technology, as well as quality, while retaining their overall dimensions unchanged, with their increasingly higher functionality, starting from series production, through mass production, to direct-line production.
