The studies on the IR absorption for woven fabrics show that the phenomenon of reflection and transmission of IR is influenced by, among others, the structure of thread channels resulting from the type of weave, sett of warp and weft and the structure of the yarn. Significant factors are also a raw material, surface weight and thickness of a woven fabric as well as its color and finish. Further research enabled to determine the geometric parameters of the channels between threads (height of the channel, channel spacing surface area, angle of channel deviation from the vertical position) and establish the relationship between these parameters. A coefficient of spacings of woven fabric surface was introduced, which is the ratio of the channel spacing surface area to the total surface area of the woven fabric. For a single channel and for the entire image of woven fabric seen an approximate volume of a single channel and channels of visual image was determined. The results of the research refer to the standard woven fabrics and woven fabrics with yarn of barrier effect against IR. The article is a summary of previous research in this field and suggests the possibility of more precise selection of important structural and geometrical factors, as well as those related to raw materials of woven fabrics, that affect the ability of IR absorption and thus the shaping of the properties of flat textile products, through a creation barriers for IR radiation. Many dependencies associated with a variety of material structure, i.e. its structure, construction, porosity, physical and mechanical parameters and complexity of shapes of the channels between threads makes it difficult to describe the phenomena arising as result of IR absorption by woven fabrics. At this stage, an attention was drawn to the dependence of the spatial structure of fabric, among others, the size of the channels between threads and raw material composition on the size of the transmission and IR reflection. There is a need to continue research channels between threads and the filamentary yarn and the development of the channel model between threads. There is also a need for more research on the selection of raw materials warehouse and dyes and chemical additives for flat textile products.

Długoletnia ekspozycja odpadów górniczych powoduje dezintegrację fizyczną struktury składowanych skał, ich zmiany chemiczne oraz mechaniczne. Ponadto wietrzenie odpadów górniczych znacząco wpływa na tempo migracji zanieczyszczeń przez strefę aeracji nadpoziomowego składowiska odpadów LZW. W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki wieloletnich badań autora dotyczących zmian wybranych parametrów fizykochemicznych i mechanicznych odpadów wydobywczych zdeponowanych na składowisku Lubelskiego Zagłębia Węglowego. Badania miały na celu ustalenie wpływu wieloletniego składowania tych odpadów na stan środowiska wodno-gruntowego oraz przedstawienie możliwości aplikacji tych odpadów w środowisku. Przedstawiono wyniki badań składu chemicznego, uziarnienia, wartości parametrów filtracyjnych i mechanicznych różnowiekowych odpadów górniczych LZW. Ocena wybranych parametrów fizykochemicznych, mechanicznych i filtracyjnych oraz ich zmian dostarcza danych, które bezpośrednio lub pośrednio mogą być wykorzystane w praktyce (do budowy obiektów inżynieryjnych, hydrotechnicznych lub jako podłoża budowlanego).

Long-lasting exposition of mine waste to atmospheric phenomena (weathering) causes physical disintegration of the rock structure and its chemical and physical changes. The present paper shows the results of multi-year investigations concerning the problem of changes in selected physical, chemical and mechanical parameters of mine waste deposited in a dumping ground located in the Lublin Coal Basin. Moreover, mine waste weathering has a significant effect on the migration rate of contaminants in the mine waste heap aeration zone. Research results of chemical and grain-size composition, and the values of filtration and mechanical parameters of the dumped multi-age layers of mine waste, are also described. The goal of the research was to determine the influence of long-standing mine waste deposition on water-ground environmental conditions, and to present the possibilities of further utilization of mine waste. The assessment of selected physical, chemical, mechanical and filtration parameters and their changes gives some information that may be applicable in practice.

W pracy przedstawiono wybrane kryteria niezbędne do uzyskania połączenia materiałów metodą udarową i mechanizmy odkształcenia plastycznego. Odkształcenie plastyczne jest niezbędne do prawidłowego połączenia materiałów metodami wykorzystującymi energię wybuchu; w tym: zgrzewania wybuchowego metali, natryskiwania detonacyjnego powłok względnie natryskiwania z wykorzystaniem wyładowania elektrycznego. Doświadczalnie ustalono, że metodą udarową możliwe jest uzyskanie prawidłowego połączenia w określonym zakresie, wyznaczanym parametrami fizyczno-mechanicznymi łączonych materiałów.

This article shows the chosen criteria necessary to obtain the connection between materials with the use of percussive method. It also covers the mechanics of plastic deformation. The plastic deformation is necessary to correctly connect materials in the methods which use the energy from explosion. These technologies include: metals explosive bonding, detonation spraying of coatings or spraying with the use of electrical discharge. It was empirically determined that, with the use of percussive method, it is possible to obtain the correct connection in the specified range, determined by the physical and mechanical parameters of the connected materials.
