In this paper, we introduce a new class of nonlinear discrete fractional equations to model tumor growth rates in mice. For the data fitting purpose, we develop a new method which can be considered as an improved version of the partial sum method for parameter estimations. We demonstrate the goodness of fit by comparing the models with three statistical measures.

W artykule zaprezentowano przegląd rozwiązań oraz proponowaną klasyfikację systemów diagnostycznych układów napędowych. Przedstawiono wyniki badań eksperymentalnych z zastosowaniem rozszerzonego filtru Kalmana i rozszerzonego obserwatora Luenbergera do diagnostyki uszkodzeń stojana i wirnika silnika indukcyjnego zasilanego z przemiennika częstotliwości PWM, pracującego w zamkniętej wektorowej strukturze sterowania.. Uzyskane wyniki eksperymentalne potwierdzają przydatność metody estymacji rezystancji uzwojenia stojana i wirnika do wykrywania i oceny stopnia uszkodzenia silnika indukcyjnego.

In this paper the classification of diagnostic method for electric drives are proposed. Possibilities of application the extended Kalman filter and extended Luenberger observer to stator and rotor fault detection of induction motor fed by PWM inverter are presented. Rotor and stator resistance as additional electromagnetic state variables are selected. The estimated stator resistance is used for an evaluation of the stator winding condition and short-circuits detection. The estimated rotor resistance is used for an evaluation of the rotor broken bars detection. Detailed analyses of experimental results for induction motor working in direct field oriented closed loop control are presented. The experimental proved theoretical assumption and demonstrated extended observers suitability to inverter fed induction motor faults detection.
