The vertical movements in the area of Pieniny klippen belt have been monitored since seventies of the last century applying precise leveling method. After construction of the dam at the Dunajec-river in nineties artificial reservoir has divided the leveling line into two parts. Trigonometric leveling was applied for connecting these parts. The paper presents both, technical problems and the results obtained in two successive observation epochs.
