Wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w latach 1995-1999 na obiekcie doświadczalnym w dolinie Baryczy wykazały, że na zdrenowanych glinach lekkich położonych na iłach hamowanie odpływu z sieci drenarskiej możliwe było w latach o średnio mokrych i mokrych okresach wegetacyjnych (1996 i 19997). Pod wpływem regulowanego odpływu zwierciadło wody w okresie wegetacyjnym (IV-IX) było wyższe o około 20-40 cm, wzrastały też zapasy w czynnej warstwie gleby (nawet o 160 mm w okresie wegetacyjnym roku 1996). Under the influence of regulating run off, the water level in the vegetation season (IV-IX) was higher about 20-40 cm. There also increased reserves in the active soil layer (even about 160 mm in the 1996 vegetation season). During the moderately dry and dry vegetation seasons (1998 and 1999), at small and steady precipitations there was possibility of breaking run off because even in the begining of the vegetation period the ground water level decreased beneath the depth of the drainage.
