A model of the rock and gas outburst phenomenon has been defined. In the model, the superposition of gas flow, stress generation, rock disintegration and transfer of disintegration products are considered. The model explains the image of rock destruction process represented by the creation of separated flakes. For the simulation of the outburst phenomenon, a computer programme has been prepared.
