The article presents the concept of the methodology of implementation of innovative manufacturing processes and new design called "lean project". The concept of creating the conditions for both to shorten the implementation time for innovation, and reducing the costs of their implementation. The essence of the developed method is the "reverse procedure". According to this procedure at the beginning of the project specifies a "volume" key design decisions to be taken in the draft. The consequence of this is to determine the next project activities, a set of information that should be maintained to decide the design. This allows the result to narrow the focus of research efforts to obtain that information. Described in the concept of work is subject to continuous review, and so far the results seem to indicate the advisability of its application.

The article focuses on the problems concerning production line capacity. The example of a certain problem concerning a line, on which the axles for grass mower are producing, is analyzed in the paper. To solve the problem authors used lean tools such as value stream mapping and ProModel program for simulation of the production line working. After gathering information about production line and processes realizing on the line, the current state of the value stream map was drawn. On the base of the map analysis and talks with employees and management the improvements, which could improve production line working and its capacity, were proposed. Improvements were discussed and chosen of them were indicated to check in simulations. Then a first version of future state of value stream map with the indicated improvements was prepared. To do simulations a plan was developed. As variables are taken: frequency of delivery, effective working time, number of simultaneously assembled products, number of lathes in the line and number of products in batch. Next a model of the production line in ProModel program was build. With the use of the model, in the range of the analysis, 144 simulations were done. Obtained data are analyzed and proposals for line developing are presented. To increase production line capacity an additional lathe has to be introduced into the line. Authors also indicate that morning break should be cut down to 5 min. Another solution, which has to be introduced, is changing a frequency of delivery. The frequency should equal 8 hours and it is enough. More often deliveries are not cost effective, although they could give even better capacity. It was impossible to double capacity by introducing only other improvements avoiding costs concerning with necessity of buying a new lathe. The proposals are shown in the second version of future state of value stream map. Authors also indicate the further possible development and analysis.

Realizacja idei oszczędnego i efektywnego wytwarzania wymaga optymalnego wykorzystania wszystkich maszyn technologicznych i urządzeń transportowych wchodzących w skład systemu obróbkowego. Zadanie powyższe jest szczególnie trudne, gdy transport w systemie produkcyjnym realizowany jest z wykorzystaniem zrobotyzowanych systemów transportowych. Konieczna jest prawidłowa koordynacja technicznego i organizacyjnego przepływu informacji wewnątrz systemu obróbkowego, w ramach krótkookresowego zarządzania produkcją. W pracy przedstawiono nową koncepcję budowy krótkookresowych harmonogramów sterujących pracą stanowiska obróbkowego, z zastosowaniem lingwistycznych wielokryterialnych reguł decyzyjnych. Tworzenie bazy wiedzy realizowane jest w sposób hybrydowy. Wstępne reguły zdefiniowane na podstawie modelu werbalnego poddawane są automatycznej korekcji, z wykorzystaniem danych uczących, uzyskanych podczas eksperymentów symulacyjnych. Opracowano algorytm pozwalający na tworzenie lingwistycznych reguł decyzyjnych na podstawie danych numerycznych, uzyskiwanych na etapie badań symulacyjnych. Za pomocą programu Fuzzy TECH opracowano model systemu wnioskowania oraz przeprowadzono przykładowe oceny możliwych do wykonania ruchów robota przemysłowego.

Modern computerized manufacturing systems increasingly accept the tasks characteristic to small batch production with high variability of products. This tendency makes routing and scheduling a troublesome problem. Production intelligent control is a highly multi-disciplinary technology. This technology involves system control, operations research, computer technology, artificial intelligence and industrial process background and fundamentals. The paper deals with the study of a new concept of the application of linguistic decisive rules to the multi-criterial control of production in robotized cells. The algorithm, that was developed for building production schedules, assists the application of different ways of the determination of the rules - they may be created by an expert or formed automatically, as a result of simulation calculations. Such a hybrid conception is highly effective in designing transport rules for automated machining systems, in which transport tasks are performed with the help of industrial robots. The application of robots needs the preparation of an algorithm that states the rules of workpiece flow during technological process carried out in the system, and determines the reaction of the system to signals affecting its state and recourses in the system.
