The paper deals with the dynamic response of thin iso- and orthotropic plates subjected to in{plane pulse loading. The problem is investigated on the basis of finite element method using computer code ANSYS8.1. The influence on the dynamic behaviour of plates of following factors: shape of pulse loading, imperfection sensitivity, time of pulse duration and material properties is analysed. The dynamic buckling load is estimated on the basis of different dynamic stability criteria.

W pracy rozwiązuje się płyty warstwowe obciążone w dowolny sposób na powierzchni górnej i dolnej. Zakłada się, że płyty mogą być kombinacją warstw zarówno ortotropowych jak i izotropowych oraz, że podział płyty na warstwy może być niesymetryczny. Model zapewnia ciągłość wielkości statycznych i kinematycznych na powierzchni podziału płyty na warstwy. Osiąga się to przez wprowadzenie do opisu dodatkowych funkcji, zwanych korektorami. Funkcje te, wraz z przemieszczeniami powierzchni podziału oraz z zadanymi funkcjami opisującymi rozkład przemieszczeń na grubości płyty, służą do skonstruowania pewnej postaci więzów narzuconych na jej trójwymiarowe przemieszczenia. Metoda zilustrowana jest przykładem trój warstwowej płyty prostokątnej.

The paper presents the solution of layered plates arbitrary load on the upper the lower surface. It is assumed that the plates can by combination of both orthotropic and isotropic layers and that the division of plates into layers can by nonsymmetric. This model ensures continuity of statical and kinematical values on the surface of the division of the plate into the layers. This can be developed by introduction into the description additional functions called correctors. These functions together with displacements of the division surfaces and with given functions describing the displacements on the thickness of plate are used for the construction of the some form of constrains for the three dimensional displacements of the plate. The method for solutions of composite plates is illustrated by the example of the three-layered free supported rectangular plate under the load at the upper surface.
