The paper discusses the process of modeling, laboratory research and analysis of the possible application fields for the magnetorheological (MR) dampers, especially controlling the damping force in the orthopedic stabilizer. The research program included obtaining the values of the temperature, magnetic flux density, displacement and forces as a time dependent functions. The analysis confirmed the possibility of applying the MR dampers as a useful devices, which can increase the orthopedic stabilizers efficiency.
