Scharakteryzowano modele przestrzeni porowej węglanowych utworów or ganogenicznych Niżu Polskiego i przedgórza Karpat. Specyficzne właściwości filtracyjne tych skał są rezultatem ich organogenicznego pochodzenia oraz procesów diagenetycznych powiązanych z tektoniczną przebudową. Wydzielono trzy podstawowe modele: piaskowcowopodobny (kulistych ziaren), mikrokawernisty oraz porowato-szczelinowy. W badaniach korelacyjnych wykorzystano analizy porometryczne, badania przepływów fazowych oraz komputerową analizę obrazów mikroskopowych. Scharakteryzowano zdolności transportu płynów złożowych przez skały każdego typu.

Pore space of organogenic up-lifted portion of the Polish Lowland and the Carpathian Foredeep has been characterized. Filtration properties of these rocks are the result of their organogernic origin and diagenesis processes connected with tectonic rebuilding. Three basic model of the pore space have been extracted: spherical grains (similar to sandstone pore space), micro vuggy and porous fractured. Mercury injection capillary pressure tests, relative permeability analyses and computer analyses of microscopic images were done for characterization of filtration properties of investigated sediments. Application of fractal approach allowed to obtain the correlation formula for each model.

The dating of 26 deposit samples taken from the Lake Jasień subglacial channel and from its immediate vicinity made it possible to determine when the floor set of peat deposits, commonly occurring at the bottoms of lakes and peat bogs, was formed. Spatial and altitude differentiation of replacement time of the palustrine-peaty accumulation by the limnic accumulation gave a chance to settle the range of Lake Jasień reach changes and their chronology. Also the dating of peat layers in top parts of the organogenic sets filling the hollows neighbouring the lake served this purpose. The attempts to use the gyttja dating to solve the stratigraphic problems of investigated area have failed.
