Energy losses in big band saw machines – analysis and optimization

In this paper, the energy losses in big band saw machines are investigated. These losses are caused by the geometric and angular inaccuracies with which the leading wheels are made. Expressions for calculating the kinetic energy of the mechanical system in the ideal and the real cases are obtained. For this purpose, expressions for calculating the velocities of the centers of the masses in two mutually perpendicular planes are obtained. A dependence for calculation of the kinetic energy losses of the mechanical system in final form is received. Optimization procedure is used to determine the values of the parameters at which these losses have minimum values. The proposed study can be used to minimize energy losses in other classes of woodworking machines.

W artykule poszukuje się optymalnych stanów pracy układów zasilania złożonych ze źródła i odbiornika. W zależności od potrzeb użytkownika, optymalnym stanem pracy obwodu jest ekstremum przyjętego kryterium wraz z ograniczeniami. Po raz pierwszy zadanie takie rozwiązano za pomocą sztucznego układu równan różniczkowych, którego stabilnym punktem osobliwym jest poszukiwany punkt minimum funkcjonału jakościowego z ograniczeniami. Jest to metoda charakterystyczna dla procedur adaptacyjnych, podobnych do procesów uczenia sztucznej sieci neutronowej, szczególnie korzystna przy dużej liczbie ograniczeń. W podanym przykładzie poszukuje się sygnału napięcia zaciskowego o najbardziej wygładzonym kształcie.

This study seeks optimal the wave-form of current in a real voltage source by the minimum criterion. The special square functional with conditions is minimised. This problem is solved using the artificial system of differential equations. The singular point of current functional in electrical network. The system may be solved using the analogy procedure or numerical procedure. This method is characteristic for the learning process of the artificial neural network. For example the optimal wave-form of voltage in real source is searched.

Konstrukcje wykonane według projektów optymalnych są narażone na niebezpieczeństwo przekroczenia dopuszczalnych ograniczeń. Powodem tego może być nieuwzględnienie w projekcie tolerancji wykonania . W pracy przedstawiono praktyczne możliwośći ich uwzględnienia w projektach z narzuconymi ograniczeniam i przemieszczeń i naprężeń . Głównym elementem pracy jej wprowadzenie do procesu optymalizacji , zredukowanych ograniczeń wynikających z iloczynów wrażliwości i tolerancji .

Optimum design structures are subjected to the possible dangerous violation of constraints. This are the cases when manufacture tolerance are not incorporated into the design . The paper presents practical possibilities of incorporating them in the designs with constraints imposed on displacements and stresses. The idea consists in introducing, into the proces optimization procedure, reduced constraints arising from products of sensitivities and manufacturing tolerances.
