Application of Markov model for determination of average lifetime of a transformer distribution system

The study presents an analysis of the operation process of elements of a system for electrical energy transformation in natural conditions of their usage. The research object is a system of HV and MV distribution transformer operation. The method of construction and an example of the Markov operation process have been presented for the analyzed technical objects. The model of the operation process was built on the basis of analysis of spatial states and events involved in operation of the analyzed technical objects. An average lifetime of the analyzed technical system was determined for assumptions accepted for a stochastic process which is a mathematical model of the distribution transformer operation process.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę procesu eksploatacji elementów systemu transformacji energii elektrycznej w naturalnych warunkach ich użytkowania. Przedmiotem badań jest układ pracy transformatorów rozdzielczych wysokiego i średniego napięcia. Przedstawiono metodę budowy oraz przykład procesu eksploatacji Markowa dla analizowanych obiektów technicznych. Model procesu eksploatacji został zbudowany na podstawie analizy stanów przestrzennych i zdarzeń związanych z eksploatacją analizowanych obiektów technicznych. Wyznaczono średni czas życia analizowanego system technicznego, biorąc pod uwagę założenia przyjęte dla procesu stochastycznego, który jest modelem matematycznym procesu eksploatacji transformatorów rozdzielczych.

An example of a technical object operation process model describing influence of engine damages on the operation process course

The authors of this paper present, a method for building a model of technical objects operation whose sequence of successive operation states, their duration times, incomes and costs connected with the objects being in these states and the way a given state is reached depend not only on the object current state but also on other factors. The model describes, among others, influence of damages of the powertrain, being a compression-ignition internal combustion piston engine, of the analyzed object on the operation process of that object. The analysed technical object is a means of transport (a vehicle). A simplified computing model has been presented in order to illustrate the discussion. The model of operation process was built basing on the analysis of spaces of states and operation events concerning technical objects used in a real transportation system. In result of identification of the analyzed system and its multi-state process of technical objects operation, operation states and possible transitions between these states, significant for this research, have been determined. Sets of source data indispensable for the model assessment and its initial verification were obtained on the basis of experimental tests with the use of passive experiment method from a real research object. In order to perform mathematical modelling of the technical object operation process the Markov decision process was applied.

Zaproponowano alternatywne metody identyfikacji stanu użytkowania obiektu budowlanego na podstawie minimalnych (najmniej preferowanych) wymagań eksploatacyjnych. W metodach tych wykorzystuje się m.in. relację słabej dominacji oraz relację przewyższania. Ponadto omówiono przykład identyfikacji stanu użytkowania schronu dwufunkcyjnego.

Alternative identification methods of a construction object operation state have been proposed in this paper. The operation state can be identified on the basis of minimal (the least prefered) exploitation requirements. The weak domination relation and the surpassing relation are applied in these methods. An example of the identification of the operation state of a shelter with two operation functions has been also presented.

W artykule przedstawiono podstawy rachunku kosztów w zastosowaniu dla przedsiębiorstw transportowych. Przedstawiono model liczenia kosztów w przypadku złożonej struktury przedsiębiorstwa m. in. pozwalający na wyznaczenie kosztu przebywania pojazdu w dowolnym stanie eksploatacyjnym.

The paper discusses the fundamentals of a cost accounting system for transportation firms. The presented model of costcalculation, applicable to firms with a complex structure, helps determine the cost of any operating state of a vehicle.
