W artykule przedstawiono różne zdarzenia eksploatacyjne prowadzące do jednakowych konsekwencji, tj. trwałego uszkodzenia silnika. Przeprowadzono analizę prowadzonych przez operatorów działań diagnostycznych, przydatności stosowanych na tych statkach systemów diagnostycznych oraz analizę walorów eksploatacyjnych najnowszych systemów diagnostycznych w aspekcie możliwości zapobieżenia opisanym konsekwencjom zdarzeń eksploatacyjnych.

In the article there are presented various operating events leading to the same consequences, i.e. permanent engine damage. The analysis has been carried out of diagnostic actions performed by the operators, of usefulness of the diagnostic systems held on these ships and the operating qualities of the latest diagnostic systems in respect of possibility to prevent the described consequences of operating events.

The analysis has been carried out of diagnostic actions performed by the operators, of the usefulness of diagnostic systems existing on these ships as well as analysis of the operating values of the latest diagnostic systems in respect of possibility to prevent the described consequences of operating events.
