In reality, sudden updates of software, attacks of hackers, influence of the Internet market, etc. can cause a surge in the number of open-source software (OSS) faults (this moment is the time when impulse occurs), which results in impulsive phenomenon. For the existing software reliability models, dynamic process of software fault is considered to be continuous when assessing reliability, but continuity of the process can be disrupted with appearance of random impulses. Thus, to more accurately assess software reliability, we proposed an OSS reliability model with SIDE. In the model, dynamic process of software fault is divided into a continuous and a skipped part, described the continuous part of the process with SDE, and described destruction of the continuity caused by unpredictable random events with random impulses. Finally, the proposed model is verified with two datasets from real OSS project, and the results show that the proposed model is more in line with reality and has better fitting effect than the existing models.

Modern tools for hydrological analysis are based on data derived from DEM. Hydrological methods that create a stream network by overland flow simulation require to remove depression (pit or sink) on DEM first. Depression occurs when a cell or group of cells is surrounded by adjacent cells at higher altitudes. Even though their removal creates an incorrect DEM, it is common practice to remove all topographic depressions (real, artificial, or combined) not to interrupt the creation of stream networks. There are two basic methods of depression removal: the filling method and the carving or breaching. Combined methods contain good characteristics of both procedures. GIS software includes a depression removal algorithm within its hydrological analysis module. The paper investigates which methods are implemented within individual open-source software SAGA and GRASS. A comparison of DEM before and after depression removal for each method is given. The methods were tested on a DEM, resolution 5x5 meter for a hilly area intersected by a significant number of watercourses.

A pocket-size binaural speech segregation system has been developed and assembled with available consumer hardware. It can enhance a target speech in a certain direction while attenuating interfering sounds from other directions. This system is based on the frequency domain binaural model (FDBM) and it segregates multiple speeches based on the directivity. This real-time system is implemented on a low-cost single board computer which might be used as a hearing assistance device. Performance of the system is evaluated in a normal laboratory room as well as anechoic chamber. Even in a room with reverberation, the system works well and show the almost same performance obtained in anechoic chamber.
