W pracy przedstawiono możliwości uzyskania nowych materiałów izolacyjnych z recyklatów opakowań wielowarstwowych, poprzez modyfikację recyklatu grafitem ekspandującym, który umożliwił otrzymanie struktury porowatej w wytworzonym materiale konstrukcyjnym. Dla polepszenia właściwości adhezyjnych pomiędzy rozdrobnionymi cząstkami Tetra Paku wprowadzono do materiału kopolimer etylen (octan winylu) o zawartości octanu winylu 40%. Wytworzone płyty o różnej gęstości i składzie, zostały poddane badaniom cieplnym oraz mechanicznym. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że dodatek w postaci grafitu ekspandującego pozwolił uzyskać lekkie, wytrzymałe mechanicznie płyty konstrukcyjne o korzystnych właściwościach termoizolacyjnych, natomiast zastosowanie kopolimeru etylen (octan winylu) zwiększyło wytrzymałość mechaniczną badanych materiałów.

This paper presents the possibility of obtaining new insulation material recyclates multilayer packaging through the use of filler in the form of expanding graphite, which allowed to obtain the porous structure of materials of construction. In order to improve the adhesion properties between the fragmented particles of Tetra Pak additional material introduced into the copolymer ethylene (vinyl acetate) with a vinyl acetate content of 40%. Produced panels of different density and composition, were subjected to thermal and mechanical testing. After this study, it was found that the addition of graphite in the form of expanding allows for making lightweight, rugged design panels with improved thermal insulation, and the use of ethylene (vinyl acetate) increases the mechanical strength of the tested recyclate materials.
This study presents the use of fluidised bed combustion to produce thermal energy, aluminium recovery and the reduction of the Tetra Pak and Combibloc packaging waste stream. Fluidisation and the pneumatic transport, which take place in the same apparatus, allow recovering bits of the aluminium foil from the combustion zone. The limited time spent in the high temperature zone leads to a high content of free metal in the solids separated in the ash trap and cyclone. Other solid products are practically chemically inert and may be disposed in a landfill of municipal or inert wastes.
