ICT in higher education: a logistic perspective from the pandemic period

A period of pandemics and distance learning has forced teachers to plunge headlong into the technological challenges of education. Today, it is possible to look back on this time as an educational milestone that, although forced, contributed to a much-needed leap into the digital age in higher education. Information and communication technologies (ICT) have contributed to a significant paradigm shift in learning and the roles of teachers and students in education today. ICT tools in the educational process have become indispensable, whether for on-site teaching, an exclusively online system, or a hybrid scheme. Therefore, this study aims to establish how modern technology has enabled a unity of resources in the education process and to identify how the pandemic conditions have affected the logistics process for didactics, particularly related to providing a unity of the right resources in the correct place. Moreover, the authors indicate the benefits of the described changes in the didactic process for teachers and students in the post-pandemic period.

W artykule przeanalizowano przemiany na rynku pracy i upowszechnienie się niestandardowych form wykonywania pracy w kontekście czynników indywidualnych, społecznych i państwowych w dobie gospodarki cyfrowej. Omówiono niestandardowe formy wykonywania pracy pod kątem elastyczności rynku, kluczowej dla gospodarki cyfrowej i pracy z wykorzystaniem platform internetowych. Rozpatrzono ekspansję tych form wykonywania pracy z perspektywy jednostki, w szczególności indywidualizmu. Naświetlono kontekst społeczny zmian, akcentując zmiany ról społecznych. W ostatniej części nakreślono zmianę oczekiwań wobec współczesnego państwa dobrobytu.

The article analyses changes on modern labour market and an expansion of non-standard forms of job execution in the so-called digital economy, focusing on individual, social and public factors. The role of non-standard forms of job execution for labour market flexibility is developed, in the context of digital economy and online platform work. At micro level, the concept of individualism is considered. At social level, changing social roles are described. In the last part, the article focuses on transformation of modern state and public expectations

W artykule przedstawiono ideę i zasady funkcjonowania systemu SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) – internetowej platformy umożliwiającej - poprzez system audytów - zarządzanie ryzykiem w łańcuchu dostaw danego przedsiębiorstwa. Opisano metodę prowadzenia takich audytów ( SMETA - Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) oraz ich specyfikę wynikającą z celów powołania systemu SEDEX. Przedstawiono zestawienie najczęściej spotykanych niezgodności w łańcuchach krajowych dostawców oraz ich znaczenie dla zleceniodawców takich audytów.

The paper presents idea and principle of SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) operation , an online platform for - through a system of audits - managing risk in the supply chain of a company. Paper also includes description of method to conduct such audits (Smeta - Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) and their specific objectives arising from the idea of SEDEX system. Summary of the most common non-compliance in national chains of suppliers and their importance for clients of such audits is presented.
