Przeprowadzono rozważania teoretyczne, dotyczące zespołu omłotowego typu walcowego z aktywnymi organami roboczymi o profilowanej powierzchni, ustalając zależności matematyczne pozwalające określić: szczelinę omłotową między walcami w funkcji parametr w geometrycznych powierzchni roboczych i średnic walców, średnicę walców w zależności od kąta tarcia materiału o profilowaną powierzchnię roboczą walców, efektywność procesu omłotu w zależności od parametrów kinematycznych i stosunku promieni walców.

Ineffective threshing and threshing damages are the main reasons of flax seed losses. The studies were carried out to reduce the losses and damages of flax seeds by improving precision of their separation in threshing process. A threshing assembly with the rollers of elastic surface profiled in triangular and parabolic shape, was investigated. On the basis of theoretical analysis the optimum dimensions for rollers' surface of both profile shapes were determined. As a basic criterion for threshing assemblya the macimally precise separation at minimum seed damages were assumed. The theoretical considerations regarding a roller threshing assembly with active working elements on profiled surface, defined the mathematical relationships which enabled to determine: the threshing gap clearance in function of surface geometrical parametrs, the roller diameters depending on profiled rollers' surface, the efficiency of threshong process in relation to kinematic parametrs and radius ratio of the rollers.
