The aim of this article is to design the Integrated Alarm System for the Kindergartens which can handle Alarm, Access and Attendance application by a common system. A similar system is not available on the market yet and there are an opportunity and interest for integrated systems. This article is focused on the kindergartens as a soft target where also Access and Attendance system is needed. Due to this demand, the new concept of the Integrated Alarm System was designed. The main-board consists of three independent microcontrollers where each microcontroller is responsible for one application. The Attendance and Alarm part are prepared for the components which are using the bus connection by the RS-232 or RS-485. The system also has an Ethernet and GPRS interface for outside communication and connection. Each part of the system and the schematic part come with a detailed explanation of the components.

The purpose of the article is to point out the possibility to create integrative school backyard in the form of garden space based on three integrated components: cognitive processes, flexibility and the integrativeness of the space. Such space may constitute an interesting and valuable alternative to common school premises management.

Celem artykułu jest pokazanie możliwości kreacji integracyjnego podwórka szkolnego w postaci przestrzeni o charakterze ogrodowym opartego działaniu trzech zintegrowanych ze sobą komponentów: poznawczości, elastyczności i integracyjności przestrzeni. Przestrzeń taka może stanowić ciekawą i wartością alternatywę dla powszechnego sposobu zagospodarowania terenów szkolnych.

Ewolucja przestrzeni zabaw prowadziła od ogrodów dziecięcych do wykrystalizowania się paradygmatu post-and-platform i ugruntowania się współczesnego (komercyjnego) powszechnie krytykowanego modelu placu zabaw typu McDonald’s. Badania prowadzone w Kalifornii w latach 2010-2011 wskazują jednak, że współczesny plac zabaw może pełnić wartościową rolę zarówno pod względem zabawowym, jak i socjalnym dla dzieci (plac zabaw – playscape), miejsca integrującego okolicznych mieszkańców (plac zabaw – centrum aktywności lokalnej społeczności), a także krajobrazowo-przestrzennego (plac zabaw – serce parku). Wykorzystanie w zagospodarowaniu konkretnych stref placu zabaw wskazanych cech przestrzennych oraz zmiana interpretacji znaczenia placu zabaw na należną mu kluczową dla kształtowania warunków rozwoju lokalnej społeczności, pozwalają na kreację wartościowej alternatywy przestrzeni zabaw.

Evolution of the play space leads us from actual gardens for children to the post-and-platform paradigm and the current day commercial (and widely criticized) McDonald’s-type playgrounds. However, a research conducted in 2010-2011 in California indicates that a contemporary playground can serve an important role in both play and social aspects of children behavior (playground as a playscape), be a focus point of integration of local communities (playground as a community activity center), as well as posses a landscape value per se (playground as a landmark and heart of a park). Creation of attractive, non-traditional and non-McDonald play spaces requires that their specific zone categories are planned to employ particular spatial features, and that playground is given due credit of a key asset for shaping the development of local communities.
