Autor przedstawia kolejne wyniki badań nad wyższym szkolnictwem wojskowym okresu międzywojennego (por. „Bellona” nr 3/2015, nr 4/2016). Charakteryzuje i ocenia system kształcenia oficerów Sztabu Generalnego na przykładzie III kursu Wojennej Szkoły Sztabu Generalnego. Omawia problemy, z jakimi borykało się dowództwo Szkoły w czasie budowy systemu kształcenia dostosowanego do dwuletniego cyklu nauczania (1921–1923) oraz zwiększonej liczby słuchaczy. Zaznajamia z wdrażaniem nowej filozofii kształcenia, która wymagała od słuchaczy i wykładowców ciągłego samodoskonalenia oraz budowy podstaw struktury organizacyjnej Wyższej Szkoły Wojennej. Wskazuje, że kształcenie w polskiej uczelni oficerów Sztabu Generalnego znacznie wzmacniało potencjał obronny Polski.

The author presents further results of studies on higher military education in the interwar period (see Bellona No. 3/2015, No. 4/2016). He characterizes and evaluates the system of educating General Staff officers on the example of the 3rd course of the War School of the General Staff. He discusses the problems of the School's command while building an education system adapted to a two-year learning cycle (1921-1923) and dealing with a bigger number of students. He also presents the process of implementing a new philosophy of teaching, which required continuous self-improvement from both students and lecturers, as well as the process of creating the basic organizational structure of the War College. Education at the Polish school for General Staff officers significantly increased Poland's defensive capabilities.

Autor kontynuuje temat rozwoju wyższego szkolnictwa wojskowego w okresie międzywojennym („Kwartalnik Bellona” nr 3/2015). Charakteryzuje i ocenia system kształcenia oficerów Sztabu Generalnego na przykładzie II kursu Wojennej Szkoły Sztabu Generalnego. Kurs ten trwał prawie dwa lata - w okresach 5 stycznia 1920-6 września 1921 roku i 15 kwietnia 1920-3 stycznia 1921 roku. Autor ukazuje między innymi ewolucję systemu kształcenia - od trybu wojennego (5 stycznia 1920 –15 kwietnia 1920 roku) do pokojowego (3 stycznia-6 września 1921 roku), opisuje funkcjonowanie Szkoły Sztabu Generalnego opartej na kadrze profesorskiej Francuskiej Misji Wojskowej i wdrażającej francuskie idee militarne, a także wskazuje na wpływ doświadczenia zdobytego w wojnie polsko-sowieckiej na polonizację systemu kształcenia oficerów Sztabu Generalnego oraz omawia kryteria rekrutacji do Szkoły.

The author continues the subject of the development of higher military education in the interwar period ("Kwartalnik Bellona" No. 3/2015). He characterizes and evaluates the system of educating officers of the General Staff on the example of the 2nd course of the War School of the General Staff. The course lasted for almost two years between January 5, 1920-September 6, 1921, and April 15 , 1920-January 2, 1921. The author presents, among other things, the evolution of the education system from the war mode (January 5, 1920-April 15, 1920) to the peace mode (January 3-September 6, 1921), describes the functioning of the War School of the General Staff, based on the French Military Mission staff of professors and implementing French military ideas, points to the influence of the experience gained during the Polish-Soviet War on polonizing the system of educating General Staff officers, and discusses the School's recruitment criteria.
