The aim of the work was optimisation of Mo-Mg-O catalyst composition. Moreover the influence of the addition of metals cations from block p and d on selectivity of 1-butene to butadience oxidative dehydrogenation was studied. Additionally, the method of catalyst synthesis and their regeneration was elaborated. The investigations were done by the method of catalytic test. The optimal selectivity to butadiene we have obtained over the catalyst containing 28% MoO3. On the other hand, it was proved, that the addition of block o and d metals decreases the process selectivity. The proposed method of the catalysts regeneration allowed restoring the primary activity of the catalysts.
