W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań doświadczalnych odparowania wody z powierzchni swobodnej w środowisku hiperbarycznym. Badano wpływ ciśnienia, temperatury i rodzaju gazu na współczynnik odparowania wody. Wyniki badań przedstawiono w postaci równań i wykresów dla każdego rodzaju gazu.

Experimental investigations of water evaporation from the free surface in the hyperbaric environment are reported. The study was undertaken to determine the coefficient of water evaporation as the function of the total pressure, temperature and the kind of gas. The experiments were carried out in the hyperbaric chamber in air, helium, carbon dioxide within the total pressure range p=0,1-3 MPa; the temperature range t=24-40 .C. The results of the experiments a large influence of the total pressure and kind of gas in the coefficient of water evaporation, a smaller effect of temperature being detected for all gases used.
