Titanium dioxide sulphate technology generates large amount of waste sulphuric acid and hydrated iron (II) sulphate (copperas). This paper shows the possibility of recycling spent sulphuric acid in titanium dioxide production after its two stage of evaporation under reduced pressure with the inter stage separation of precipitated salts in order to remove transition metals salts consisting of the contamination of the spent sulphuric acid. The discussed process has been tested in the industrial conditions. The described process saves principal conditions for sulphuric acid recycling in titanium dioxide sulphate technology.
