The article describes the risk management process as one of the aspects related to the renewal or modernization of railway vehicles. The first part of the text indicates the difference between the renewal and modernization of vehicles. Normative documents, that required carrying out the presented process with a list of other documents necessary to obtain a permit. are referred to. The main part is devoted to the risk management process, including risk acceptance methods (code of conduct, reference framework and open risk assessment). Additionally, the methods of open risk valuation applied in practice are presented.

Artykuł opisuje proces zarządzania ryzykiem jako jeden z aspektów związanych z odnowieniem lub modernizacją pojazdów kolejowych. W pierwszej części tekstu wskazano różnicę między odnowieniem oraz modernizacją pojazdów. Przywołano dokumenty normatywne, wymagające przeprowadzenie przedstawionego procesu, wraz z zestawieniem pozostałych dokumentów koniecznych do uzyskania zezwolenia. Główną część poświęcono procesowi zarządzania ryzykiem, w tym sposoby akceptacji ryzyka (kodeks postępowania, układ odniesienia oraz jawne szacowanie ryzyka). Dodatkowo przedstawiono stosowane w praktyce metody jawnej wyceny ryzyka.

Artykuł porusza problematykę związaną z posadzkami przemysłowymi. Podjęto w nim próbę przedstawienia i uporządkowania uszkodzeń oraz sposobów napraw i remontów posadzek z grupy betonowych i żywicznych. Odnośnie do wybranych posadzek przeanalizowano błędy na etapie projektowania, wykonawstwa, eksploatacji oraz materiałowe. W końcowym fragmencie zwrócono uwagę na zasady ich konserwacji.

The article focuses on issues related to industrial floors. The attempt has been undertaken to present and categorize the damages of concrete and resin floors and the ways of repairing them. Selected types of damages of floors during their design, construction and usage have been analyzed. The attention has been paid to the rules of their maintenance.

Vehicles moving on railway lines, sidings etc. are subject to the inevitable ageing processes and elements used in them are subject to the processes of wearing. Over the years of operation of the vehicle the regulations and requirements, that must met by a vehicle subjected to the process of obtaining the authorization for placing into service, also change. Therefore, modernization and renewal of vehicles is an important element in the life of the vehicle allowing them to operate with the latest design solutions. The article presents the current Polish regulations under both community law and national law. It shows the possible ways of conducting for placing the vehicles after modernization and renewal. It presents the common elements and differences arising from the community and national law to carry out the process of replacing in service of the vehicle after the modernization and renewal.

Pojazdy poruszające się po liniach kolejowych, bocznicach itp. podlegają nieuchronnym procesom starzenia a zastosowane w nich elementy ulegają procesom zużycia. Na przestrzeni lat eksploatacji pojazdu zmieniają się również przepisy oraz wymagania jakie musi spełniać pojazd poddany procesowi uzyskania dopuszczenia do ruchu. Modernizacja i odnowienie pojazdów jest więc istotnym elementem w życiu pojazdu pozwalając na ich eksploatację z najnowocześniejszymi rozwiązaniami konstrukcyjnymi. W artykule zaprezentowano obowiązujące w Polsce przepisy prawne wynikające zarówno prawa wspólnotowego oraz z prawa krajowego. Przedstawiono możliwe drogi postępowania dla dopuszczania pojazdów po modernizacji i odnowieniu. Zaprezentowano elementy wspólne oraz rozbieżności wynikające z prawa wspólnotowego oraz krajowego dla przeprowadzenia procesu ponownego włączenia do eksploatacji pojazdu po przeprowadzonej modernizacji i odnowieniu.

In this study, we investigated the interactions between the dominant native invader, Gundelia tournefortii, and the dominant forage species, Psathyrostachys fragilis in rangelands of Taleghan (Iran). Four transects of 150 meters were considered as sampling unit. Using randomly-systematic method, 15 plots (1 x 1m) were placed along each transect with a distance of 10 m. List of species, the canopy cover and the numbers of plant species were determined in each plot. The spatial association of the two dominant species was assessed by studying association, covariation, and distribution pattern (using the Hopkins’ index) of plants. We found a clumped distribution pattern in both two dominant species. Results of this study revealed a strong competitive interaction between the dominant plant species in studied area with P. fragilis was more frequent and had more canopy cover than the native invader G. tournefortii. So, according to our findings, P. fragilis may present a suitable candidate for artificial re-vegetating and protecting against invaders to restore the biodiversity and ecological health of endangered rangelands.

Most Piaskowy jest obecnie najstarszą, liczącą 148 lat, budowlą mostową na terenie Wrocławia. Opisano historię tego interesującego obiektu, który doznał licznych uszkodzeń w 1945 r., a obecnie został odnowiony, z zachowaniem dbałości o walory architektoniczne. W miejscu dzisiejszego Mostu Piaskowego istniała już co najmniej od XII wieku drewniana przeprawa mostowa.

The present Piaskowy bridge is the oldest bridge in Wroclaw. The stages of renewal process are presented in the paper and also its range. Authors show old architectural details of the bridge, such as balustrades and street lamps. The paper is ended with a list of archive literature concerning the bridge. The history of the crossing is presented, from wooden bridge built in Xllth century, up to present steel truss structure.
