W referacie przedstawiona została skrótowo historia i działalność Oddziału Kieleckiego SEP. Przedstawiono postać inż. Tomasza Ruśkiewicza. Opisano działalność elektryków i działaczy SEP w ramach Radomskiego Koła Elektrotechników, powołanego przez II Ogólnopolski Zjazd Elektrotechników i Radomskiego Oddziału SEP przekształconego z Koła na Oddział na Walnym Zjeździe Delegatów SEP w 1928 roku w Toruniu. Kolejna część artykułu obejmuje historię i działalność Oddziału Radomsko-Kieleckiego w latach 1935 do 1939, a także okres działalności SEP w czasie okupacji (lata 1939-1945). Przedstawiono też historię i działalność Oddziału RadomskoKieleckiego SEP po wyzwoleniu spod okupacji i dostosowanie jej do nowej rzeczywistości politycznej i gospodarczej. Artykuł zakończono działalnością Oddziału Kieleckiego SEP od roku 1950 do 2022 roku.

The paper briefly presents the history and activities of the Kielce Branch of SEP. The first part of the paper presents the figure of Eng. Tomasz Ruśkiewicz - Son of the Świętokrzyskie Region. His professional activity was related to electrical engineering. Regardless of his professional work Eng. Tomasz Ruśkiewicz was involved in social and association activities. In 1919, he was one of the initiators and organizers of the Founding Congress of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers. He is the patron of the Kielce Branch of the SEP. The second part of the paper (1921-1935) presents the activities of electricians and SEP activists within the Radom Electrical Engineering Club established by the 2nd National Congress of Electrical Engineers (November 1, 1921) and the Radom Branch of SEP transformed from a Club to a Branch at the General Congress of SEP Delegates held in 1928 in Toruń. The third part of the paper covers the history and activities of the Radom-Kielce Branch from 1935 to 1939. During this period, a draft of new regulations of the Radom-Kielce Branch was prepared and approved by the Main Board. In June 1935, the Radom SEP Branch was transformed into the Radom-Kielce SEP Branch with its seat in Skarżysko-Kamienna. The fourth part of the paper concerns the SEP's activity during the occupation (1939-1945). The occupier destroyed Poland's property and most of the Association's achievements. The members and sympathizers of the SEP went into conspiratorial activities. The repressions greatly reduced the ranks of the Association, but did not completely destroy its activities. The fifth part of the paper covers the years 1945-1950. It presents the story and the activities of the Radom-Kielce Branch of the SEP after the liberation from occupation and its adaptation to the new political and economic reality. It is the time of a rebuilding of the country, in which SEP activists took an active part. The sixth part of the paper presents the efforts of SEP activists from Kielce, operating within the existing Radom-Kielce Branch, to create an independent Kielce Branch based in Kielce. The seventh part - the last part of the paper presents the story and the activity of the Kielce Branch of SEP from 1950 to 2022.
