The article presents the concept of the methodology of implementation of innovative manufacturing processes and new design called "lean project". The concept of creating the conditions for both to shorten the implementation time for innovation, and reducing the costs of their implementation. The essence of the developed method is the "reverse procedure". According to this procedure at the beginning of the project specifies a "volume" key design decisions to be taken in the draft. The consequence of this is to determine the next project activities, a set of information that should be maintained to decide the design. This allows the result to narrow the focus of research efforts to obtain that information. Described in the concept of work is subject to continuous review, and so far the results seem to indicate the advisability of its application.

W artykule przedstawiono możliwość zastosowania do analizy przepływów materiałowych i informacyji na linii montażu przełączników elektrycznych mapy strumienia wartości. Przeanalizowano w ten sposób kolejne operacje i czynności w procesie montażu przedstawiając faktyczną ich wartości. Dało to podstawę do podjęcia decyzji menedżerskich w zakresie poprawy analizowanego procesu montażu.

Value Stream Analysis is a powerful tool to help look strategically at business, or a business process, and quickly identify opportunities for improvement. Wastes are identified and documented. Value Stream Maps are visual descriptions of a Value Stream. They are powerful because they give a way of communicating about what the current Value Stream is and what it will become in the future. Value Stream Analysis is a planning process that uses Value Stream Maps. It has clear boundaries and is usually focused on a part of the Value Stream.
